Any car painters here? I'm having a bastard of a time finding paint code info and looking for anyone who can help with these codes:
LRC 468/MUE "Quicksilver"
Rover 906/MNF "Quicksilver"
LRC MNH "Sparkle Silver"

The ones in particular are wheel colours. Because landrover decided to never publish that in places that normal people can find them. Here's my example:
Rangerover classic 3 spoke alloys. These first surfaced in the early 1980's (about 82 ish) and kept being used until the last models in the mid 90's. But the colours kept changing.

Here's a good pic:

Wheel on the bottom left is all silver. It's made about 1982. The other 4 are from 85 and have a darker more dirty silver centre. The outer edges are kinda the same as the 1982.

The best information I can find is a paint code LRC468/MUE called "Quicksilver" for the centres and "MNH Sparkle Silver for the outer rims" My paint touch-up guys couldn't find that code.
They had an old rover code 906/MNF also called "quicksilver". It's basically the same as the wheel on the left.

Here's the 906/MNF quicksilver dabbed on the 1985 wheels which should be MUE Quicksilver. Totally different:

Now the Sparkle Silver isn't right either. It's a good match for the late 90's discovery wheels which weren't body coloured, but the outer edge on these are pretty flat silver and the Sparkle has a big metallic flake.
The 906/MNF Quicksilver is a pretty good match.

Kingsley wheels have some nice glossy pics of "quicksilver" refurbed wheels: Kingsley Cars

The wheel caps they sell confirms the paint code (last 3 digits):

This is the MNH Sparkle Silver used on the later wheels, it's bright and has a pretty strong flake in it, that's what the edges on the 3 spokes are supposed to be but aren't. The Kingsley wheels above I think are diamond turned edges:

So does anyone have proper paint charts that list these codes? Anything concrete I can point a more local paint shop towards?
