What's new

Ford Bronco Release date set

Just watched. They say it can be had with a 7 speed manual.

Gay. Lost me by claiming it was the first SUV.

Itll sell like hotcakes.

Who will be racing it at KOH 2021

When will they be on the lots? I need to kick the tires, and romp on one before I commit.

Factory 35's, lockers, 7 speed manual, swaybar disconnects, 2.7 ecoboost. Not too bad of a combination.

I hope you can get a stripper with just those things and not a bunch of extra shit! Looks badass, I'm waiting for the new Landcruiser to come out before I buy something else. But Bronco is high on the list right now!

YES a 2.7 ECOBOOST brings all the tingly feelings, and IFS for a smooth ride to the mall with girlfriends is awesome. Like the guy said, "YOU need a Bronco". Not me.

I dig the plain steel wheel look...

I'll look at them in 4 -5 years when I can get a CPO one at a decent price (hopefully) and the bugs have been worked out (hopefully). But I liked what I saw. I do think the fully open roof with zero support between the A and D columns on the 4 door (maybe the 2dr as well) was a bad idea.. room for aftermarket right there.

Can’t wait to see what Fab Fours comes up with for these things f’d. Going to be epic. :flipoff2:

I dig it. Will be getting rid of our 5th Gen 4runner for one.

It's a lot better than many people predicted. I like that the non-sport 2dr & 4dr are body on frame.

2.7's boogie in a half ton, be even better in this. It'd be cool if the 7 speed was available with it but the 10R80 is good for the hauling ass.

That's why I asked. It's been a bitchen little motor for the 41k I've had it in my heavy, overly optioned lariat. Turn off traction control and light them up getting on the freeway. :smokin: well maybe not now that I put the e range coopers on it.

Looks decent! Curious to see what pricing is out the gate. Damn shame GM didn't do this with the blazer name on the zr2 chassis...

I don't hate it.

To bad its going to be the next "big thing" and every soccer mom and city slicker is going to be driving one with bling wheels and mud tires down city streets. Just like the JKU/JLU fad currently.

I predict the used market will be flooded with JK's and JL's when those are released. Gotta keep up with the Jones' ya know...

Front locker in the Sasquatch package available on all trim levels.
From Car and Driver article today.

"Got all that? Good, because there's one more thing: the Sasquatch package. That's your primo off-road gear: 35-inch Goodyear Territory mud-terrain tires, a 4.70 final-drive ratio, locking front and rear Spicer differentials, 17-inch black-painted beadlock-capable wheels, high-clearance suspension and fender flares, and the Bilstein dampers. Sasquatch Broncos also get a full three inches of extra track width. The package be added to any trim level, but it's standard on Wildtrak and First Edition. So your bang-for-the-buck off-road beast will be a base model with Sasquatch"

I dig it. If the IFS can hold up to crawling (), the 2-door could be a great replacement for my 2-door JK.

3500# towing, 100" WB, lockers F&R, swaybar dicso., vinyl floors, & the "Sasquatch" package - don't build shit, just drive!

. . . until it shits the bed. Then tow to dealer & drive a loaner car for 1-17 weeks  . . . :frown:
