Pure Blood
3 or so cords of 10+ to do this year. Love the splitter so far. I've got free logs lined up, as many as i can take. My buddy got a fire prevention grant area, what sucks is its mostly sub-alpine (piss) fir.
Brought home most of a maple I removed and more fir.
is the fire pit new?Fire pit is mint except it doesn't fit whole pallets. Maxed out at two before you hear the siding and gutters on the shop start moving from the heat.
It was here when I moved in, about the only thing the previous owners did that was worth a shit honestly.is the fire pit new?
it looks awesome
but being cement blocks, any real good heat will cause them to crumble over time.
what I did was line the inside of the ring with clay brick. they can take the heat better.
I got a bunch of those to get soon as well, a few fell on my fence The king needs to take better care of his forests up here. To many dead trees on his side of the fenceno pics, but as part of wildfire mitigation I cut 20 lodgepoles the other day and moved about half of them and their slash with the hoe today.
Which model of box blade is that?Been busy getting wood for this winter when I i feel like getting away from the shop and work. Sorry for the fuzzy pics, my phone case was messed up, but I got a new so the rest are better.
I am about 75% full in the wood shed now, luckily we have lots of standing dead around , so drying the wood for winter isn't an issue. I just like to be ahead of the game... and cutting/splitting firewood is fun. I must be getting old.
WLDWUN do you sell firewood as well or is this just cleaning up your property?
Don't jinx itOh, and how did you get this thread to go 5 pages without Arse stopping by to tell you all that you're doing it wrong?
Ouch!My buddy's leg after he fell a green aspen, it barberchaired, and his foot was stuck in a hole and he couldn't get out in time. He's lucky the rest of him wasnt in the way.
