What's new

Possible road trip in the next few weeks

Mostly because you take everything personal, get way too emotional, and resort to name calling. That's the CA mindset no one wants :flipoff2:

Oh sheesh. That’s all you got? Lol.
Knowing what I know from here, I can be a better Idahoan than any native.
If we are friends or have business it’s cool.
Otherwise leave me the fuck alone.

Add pompous to the list of why no one likes CA folks.

Just trying to uphold my end of the ‘conversation’. I don’t mean half the shit, but I’ll be damned to be labeled. Especially if it’s inaccurate..

My point is that my heart lies in ideals that don’t exist in my state anymore.
I find those ideals elsewhere but I’m committed to fulfilling my contract here for now.
I will take my values elsewhere once I am able to find a place where they will be recognized and appreciated.

When I do move there you most likely won’t even know other than the Red vote is one greater.

If that’s insignificant to you then let’s hear the argument against.

Absolutely correct again! I wont know since I'm not from, lived, or ever been to Idaho :flipoff2:

Just having fun ruffling the feathers of a CA refugee.

That house is as close to twin falls as it is Jerome. It's a nice area with good access to all of the shopping etc in twin falls but more open space. Jerome county taxes are a bit higher than twin falls county though but houses are generally cheaper

I showed that to Sharon yesterday as an example of what's available and she was very excited by it. It's brand new, has only 125 sq/ft less than what we have now, the acreage is almost exactly the same and the total mortgage/tax/insurance would be appx. 40% of our present one. That's very attractive.

I want you to move here.....to help me with my bluebelly fawktards infestation.

Right after you drown Gary.

.

Actually....bring Gary with you. It worse then dying....

:flipoff2:gary.

No worries about me infecting Idaho with "Commiefornia" bullshit. Like Vex I don't vote Demo or for anyone espousing that leftist/progressive B.S.
I vote for smaller government, which means fewer laws and personal freedom. I have two reasons why I haven't left this state sooner.

1. To Sharon family is THE most important thing there is and all 3 daughters and 4 grandkids live in SoCal. That's now changing.
2. Like Vex I had a career that simply wasn't available to me in a place like Idaho. Same for Sharon. She did 35 years at her company and got a wonderful pension because of that. It would have been extremely stupid to bail on that. Now that we're both retired we're able to financially make the move.

Will I miss the nice weather in SoCal ? Yes, but I grew up in Wisconsin and I can deal with snow/cold. Last night Sharon said to me............................................. I'm ready for a big change in scenery.

Sharon made the motel reservations last night for this coming Friday/Saturday/Sunday nights in Twin Falls. The recon trip is on for this coming weekend.

Figure that we are escaping an oppressive state, why would we want to extend that to another state we are moving to?

You don't trust us and that’s understandable, but we are coming as allies not communists.

I'm sure you're genuine:beer:
The problem lies with the 99% who leave CA who aren't.
It seems the CA folks are all moving to UT, which is pushing the Utards here. I cringe every time I see a CA or UT plate show up to look at the property for sale just up the hill from me. Makes me want to set out my steel plate and shoot every time.

Career commitment dumbfuck. I guess you don’t know about such things so I’ll dumb it down for you.

I stayed because I committed to a long term contract to stay employed at my job for the amount of time that was required to receive a pension from the entity that guaranteed that pension

That’s just one aspect of what responsible people do to enrich their lives with future goals.
I’m pretty sure you have no concept of such, but that’s how I was raised and continue to think.

You sound bitter.

I live in the east with all the trees and green 7 months a year. I did live in Colorado for several years and the lack of natural green never bothered me.
But looking at the house photos , not knowing the time of year, it looks like the moon around the house...I need some vegetation to hide behind so the neighbors don't see me...lol...
Mortgage? At your age just buy with money from the sale of the existing home or an equity loan if you are not selling before you buy...Some may go on about how a mortgage is better in certain situations...but I found being a cash buyer gives push and just not dealing with the banks is worth it...

Remind me to have a good chuckle then forget all about it when your employer invests the pension fund in a trans PoC owned carrot farm and you lose most or all of your pension. :flipoff2:

It's a brand new house. Planting trees around it simple and cheap.

Definition of bitter.

Truth. Cold hard bitter truth.

. No bombing Ted... You best not be rolling out the welcome bombs.

The flipoff indicates that I don’t wish ill on him and am just poking at him. Unless the meaning has changed on this board.

I fugged that up. Your statement has bitter truth that maligned their loyalties to the system they think they can escape.... Hopefully they get lucky.

Because these days.....I think I would rather be lucky then right. Fuking illiterate zoo out there.

Ok. But for the record, I think he is taking a risk putting all his eggs in the pension basket but I don’t want him to spend his golden years as a Walmart greeter. He just seemed really wound up so I wanted to help.

You're a hypocrite. You're the equivalent of a dog that shit on the carpet expecting a belly rub for a good job.

I personally hope you don't find happiness. You've NEVER forwarded any good will to anyone.

And you're 90 and still owe a mortgage? Not the upper eschelon image you've made us believe about you.

Let's see:
I'm in Meridian

Budd is in Middleton (by me)

Lil Uzi is a little North and East of Salmon

You being on the East side (Idaho Falls) or central (Twin Falls) would cover almost all areas, except the panhandle.

I got the panhandle covered, just outside of Pinehurst.

Welp, we know who the militia members are.
