What's new

All you fuckers living in rusty places

wasn't there a class action suit in... Jersey?... to get gov'ts to stop using salt and brine in some areas?

I'll raise your dusted 7.3.

Guy had to stop using his 7.3 in a plow truck because you could see the valve train with the covers on. Yes, the heads were rusted completely through.
Wow... I've seen 460's like that, just get a new 460. Then I have done some nasty 7.3 exhaust manifolds, cut all the manifold bolts, then start with an air hammer to break it loose.

Most of those are long gone here. I did a ton of brake and fuel lines on those!
They're everywhere in the south (99-06 gm). I'm not a hardcore chevy guy by any means, but they're by far the most common middle aged truck on the road. I've got 230k on mine and it's not going anywhere anytime soon.

I realize I'm horsing a dead beet here, but goddam it must suck sooo hard to live in a salt area.

I'll never know
No no, thats my (never gonna happen) dream- we get rich via magic genie...

Summer house on small lake in Michigan

Fall/ winter/ spring house on the side of a cliff in Arizona

While at the sprawling lake mansion, we'll hear horror stories about the previous winter while sharing beers with the neighbors. "Oh wow, that sounds terrible. I don't know how you guys do it. Cheers."

That's a fuel pump plate in a 2000 Rav4. Oh that's under the back seat in a access hole. No way I'm picking it up, the rockers crumble if you touch them.

Not seeing the issue here. Just use an oxy/acel torch and get that mother fucker cherry red first? It'll come right apart.
