What did you do for your ford today?

If you buy him a truck, he'll drive a truck with a back window stick that says "steve's speedi driveshaft service".
You and Steve should sponsor the VW guy for KOH. Figure out some slogan about long shafts and deep holes.

Seriously though. I bet he'd put your business and phone number on that thing for not that much money.

I can't remember if I've ever needed a puller. I seem to think I was able to do it by putting bolts in the balancer and just pulling on it with some persuasion... AFTER removing that bolt of course.

The reason I asked was because I was able to turn the bolt/crank with my 40"/.75" breaker bar.
I was assuming if I tried using an impact gun the crank would turn too.🤷‍♂️

The vid shows the dude removing said bolt with impact and the crank not turning.

Ah; Ok, good to know.
The crank won't turn, or won't turn much using an impact wrench.

What I like to do when I don't have the space for an impact is put one cylinder at 50% stroke on compression, fill it up with oil and replace the spark plug. I've used water in a pinch in situations where I knew the vehicle would be running again immediately afterwards.
