War Pig Version 12

Got the Ford NP205 back from the builder. 1550 input, 1410 outputs. Should be able to use the same Ford F350 driveshaft front and rear.

We build a skid plate mount for it and will use stock studs and bushings to hang it. I also have the Ford mounts to use.

Thanks shortbus4x4
Lol. That transfercase has seen some miles in the last couple of years getting to its final destination. Looking good.

And fixing stuff like this.

I think we need a "I hate the previous owner thread".

Not to mention the bed liner covering the rust on this "rust free" truck.

Since we're a bit crushed for time, I have Josh at Vague Industries taking care of the cab and doing 8 new body mounts.

We repaired the bed.

May try to find a front panel for it.

Got the tires on, and started welding.

More tomorrow.

Front came down a bit, with the right body mounts placed in the right spot.

Ripped out the wiring and the dash too.

May swap to aluminum MRAP rims.

Those would fit the build much better than those ugly bling wheels you have on there now.
Would require custom spacers to get the offset I want.

The rims on the truck are the ones in the rendering, just not powder coated yet. They will look different without the wear bars on them.

BTW, anyone know of a shorter York? I have a 210 on the Duramax and I think I'd like a 206 to clear the hood.

The York build I saw, and started to copy for my lly Chevy had the compressor laying on its side to clear the low hood.
Same location as yours but with the head tipped away from the engine

yeah, I can do that, but not get access to my power steering pump.

VS a 206 upright which is 2" shorter, with the ports on the back.
Originally, built this engine for a truck (Chevy g506) that needed air.

Now this one doesn't need it, but will have big air tanks for tools, plus maybe air horns for a giggle.

That looks fairly simple, spin that intake filter 180 over the radiator hose with a longer nipple if needed

Looks accessible, maybe not easy

If the ps is still impossible, mod the housing a little, like the full hydro guys do, add a snout and a longer dipstick tube

The pic may look deceiving - the compressor completely obstructs the pump inlet.

Yeah, easier to run an upright 206 and not mod anything else.

So, in typical Pirate fashion, I ask a question and get answers that do not relate... :flipoff2:

So next one... it's either set of gauges, not the ones you know about, your grandmother makes etc.

So, designing the dash for the IH.
Fighting with gauge selection: which ones in a custom carrier?

Assuming you're going with the original dash (but modified), I'd go with the first style as the rounded lines match the rest of the dash better than the angular second set.
