Trump indicated for election interference

The LP is a fucking joke anyway. Aspirations way outside of reality and too much focus on stupid ass issues no one else cares about like raw milk. Lost me years ago when they went full in on open borders as well. I get it in principle, but in reality it doesn't work.
Points for consistency!

So they're going to back on campaigning on stupid fringe issues like raw milk that no one gives a fuck about again? LP sucked even before things got weird with them over the past few years. Love to libertarianism gain more popularity, but the LP ain't it. Too many fucking weirdos focused on the wrong shit and aiming for offices well above where they should be.

Because if Trump manages to get voted back in I predict scorched earth coming to DC. Nobody, and I mean nobody from either side wants this because it's going to expose and take down lots of big names on both sides of the isle. Same reason they will never ever release an Epstein client list.......
I wish this were true, but what did he really do in this regard in the first 4 years?

This is all about running cover for the stolen election in 2024. Plain and simple. No other real reason, other than most of them are political hack prosecutors who have TDS. But the string pullers want there to be a huge cloud over Trump so the media and pundits can right volumes for years about why Biden won reelection being the least popular president in history and despite the economy being terrible come this time next year
I think they are still running cover for the stolen election in 2020. Trump is the one candidate that wouldn't let that sleeping dog lie.

He shook shit up enough to get the ball rolling on exposing just how bad things are.

Only so much he could do in a first term with the opposition he faced and having to worry about re-election.

Trump with 4 years of nothing to lose is an entirely different story. Especially if the GOP takes Congress.

Like I said. I hope it's true. I'd like to see every last corrupt motherfucker in jail.

I didn’t really see anything from this perspective on why the Dems want him as the candidate. I know a lot of middle of the road Dems who would vote for a Republican but not if it’s Trump. They all are lifetime never Trumpers. In turn this splits the Republicans votes much like decent libertarian candidates have done in the past. It’s lose/lose situation for the right.

I have that conversation near daily with my hardcore D neighbor. He is on a fixed income, he finally decided to own a few guns and constantly complains about CA gun control laws, the inflation that is just raping him, the price of gas, the price of electricity, and just how fucking painful it is now that he is retired. Yet, he has specifically stated that no matter how bad it gets, no matter how high the pain level reaches, if the ticket is Biden and Trump, he will vote for Biden again.

That's my experience too. Most of my friends and family are on the left. No matter what happens, not one of them is seeing Trump more sympathetically.

They HAVE succeeded in sabotaging Trump. Even if he's the nominee, too many sheep have been programmed with TDS.

That's generally my view. The left has succeeded in making Trump absolutely radioactive. And they have had plenty of help from Trump.

People believe in UFOs.

Here I was thinking it couldn't get dumber that Sarah Palin. Not only did we hit bedrock, we drill baby drilled through it. :grinpimp:

Palin is no imbecile and she was correct and way ahead of the pack regarding her drilling for energy independence at the start of the shale oil boom. That effort led us to be the worlds largest producer of petroleum in the entire world until Biden fucked it up.

People believe in UFOs. Not just that aliens exist, but that the US government is reverse engineering them somewhere, a la men in black. The only thing I believe in anymore is complete, uniform extinction of common sense and critical thinking in America. I heard a good quote once-- logic in, logic out.

If someone didn't use logic to arrive at a conclusion, logic won't steer them away from it.

And, quicker than I anticipated, we have a presidential candidate seemingly too old to function, another who thinks Covid is designed to spare Jews, another supporting the idea that slavery was beneficial, and another facing a series of criminal complaints.

Here I was thinking it couldn't get dumber that Sarah Palin. Not only did we hit bedrock, we drill baby drilled through it. :grinpimp:
Man you have some pretty smart takes on stuff but your absolute dismissal of anything “conspiracy” related leads me to believe you might be the one with the lack of critical thinking skills, or just can’t come into anything out of the norm with an open mind.

Well yeah. I don't believe in conspiracies, as that's the exact definition of them. I certainly don't believe in the ones that have been outright disproven, but today's world is strangled in runaway silliness.

Extraterrestrial life? Almost certainly exists. Is it contained by the US government? Possible. Evidence? Some guy said some other guy told him so. K.

Like many things in life, I'll be an avid supporter as soon as I see tangible evidence. For instance, if god tapped me on the shoulder while I'm here typing this while poopin, I'd immediately abandon my whole life and go serve him. I'm always open to having my mind changed.

let me tell you a secret, dumbass democrats are going to be dumbass democrats. if they still vote for this shit they will never change. can't fix stupid, it is to the bone. they will lie to you and say they will, but they won't.

Fine but there’s some shit you’ll never get tangible evidence for. Like jfk, wildly unlikely some doc is gonna surface that expressly states the CIA was behind it, but it sure as fuck seems like they were.

Red herring- I didn't say that was some ideal structure. Show me an election that was otherwise. They're vanishingly rare.

Believe me, I've wasted decades of votes on third parties. Feel free to vote Vivek, or RFK, or whatever wingnut the LP coughs up...it will still be Trump Vs ThePotatoe. The Right as a whole, vs the Left as a whole. You're on one side of that center line, or the other. How far out doesn't matter, when there are only two circles to fill in.

As long as people keep showing up to hold their nose and vote red or blue we're stuck with what we've got. Both parties are going to run candidates that poll WELL below 50% among the population as a whole. The parties are out of step with the population as a whole. At some point the masses have to wake up and stop voting for them. The way campaign finance laws are setup it makes any third party effort extremely difficult but if the two major parties continue to drift further from the masses at some point something has to give.

Look, I think anything's possible. But until a claim has some tangible evidence behind it, it's just a claim. What's troubling about claims is that more often than not, they lead to toxic results. Like vaccines causing autism. Completely debunked, but the damage is done. I suppose I also have a benefit/curse of being a government employee. It's all the same, hideously dense bureaucracy. Even at the CIA, the best spies or insiders have yearly performance reviews where they have shit middle manager above them hating life and trying to make it seem like they're promoting synergy.

It's hard for me to believe any human beings employed by the government would lay eyes on a UFO being reverse engineered and not leak it. Fuck, I would. Imagine the payday if that was leaked. So for that example, it's possible, but highly, highly unlikely.

So far the biggest conspiracy theory I've been supporting, as it were, is Epstein's "suicide". I've come to terms that he probably did do it, but I'm not convinced. That thyroid bone takes a helluva lot of force to break, and I know that based on the forensic trainings I've done related to strangulation and proving damage to the throat. I also don't believe in extreme circumstance, ie the guards being asleep/on vacation, and the cameras not working, etc. So, that's juxtaposed with the fact that to be a conspiracy, a lot of people would have to be in on it and not leak. Also hard to believe. So I'm enormously suspicious of that whole thing, and haven't discounted that conspiracy entirely because there is a lot of circumstantial evidence that would support the fact he didn't kill himself.

So that's kind of how I approach these things.

I believe there's a coverup of the JFK murder and a few other .gov dirty tricks, al la my conspiracies thread.

Now back on topic, politico's are saying that Trump will just claim that he was acting on advice of council, and that he really didn't believe that he won the election. It would be a hard prove to show what his actual thoughts were, no?

Pretty much agreed. In principle, I basically agree with most of libertarianism with a small "l". But Libertarians with a big "L" end up like virtually all other political parties and end up taking stances where you're like... wait a minute... based on your principles, how in the fuck did you end up here?

I wish we'd heeded George Washington's advice in his farewell words. Beware political factions and stay out of European affairs. Just look at us now.

Quoted for truth.

I'm NOT saying th Trump indictment is fascism, I'm just saying it IS something a fascist government would do.
