Its about equal standards and application of law.

Take Jan 6 for example. No one in their right mind can make a sincere argument that Jan 6 was a riot when the left and media already set the standard.

Remember….”Since when do protests have to be peaceful?” “Mostly peaceful protest” “If you see them out, push up on them and make them feel unwelcome”

We saw real calls to action and real calls to violence and calls to riot. Not the made up bullshit lefties try to spin about Jan 6 being a deadly insurrection and Trump firing up the crowd.

Only people making that argument are lefties and apparently the non binary they/them political experts.

Yeah, in these hyper-partisan conversations I'm an outsider. The BLM riots were riots. They weren't "mostly peaceful protests". January 6th wasn't an "insurrection". Both of these statements can be true.

So much this. I very distinctly remember watching live feeds from inside the capitol on this day. Paul Gosar objected to AZ certifying their election results with Ted Cruz seconding the motion. This was met with rounds of applause.

Not 5 minutes later people "breached" the capitol and everyone went into lockdown. Around an hour later precedings continued starting off with voting on moving forward with Paul Gosar's objection and the vote was a couple hundred against and like 6 for, almost like the breach just gave everyone a convenient excuse to vote against any objection of certifying the results.

Anyone who played connect the dots as a kid could see the political theater as it played out. I personally think both sides are full of actors and the play is simply to amuse idiots like us but I sure hope I'm being just a bit too cynical.

Trumps name appears 14 times.

Biden 6 times and most of that is Hunter.

What does that tell us?
 
They are constantly attacking him and have been since he decided to run in 2016. Multiple impeachments, multiple false lawsuits, multiple charges and they keep adding on. The only reason to keep adding on like they are is because they think the other charges they have again Trump wont convict. Without a conviction of a charge that would prevent him from legally running he is the RNC Nominee and they know his base will follow him.

Why are they so scared of that?

Because if Trump manages to get voted back in I predict scorched earth coming to DC. Nobody, and I mean nobody from either side wants this because it's going to expose and take down lots of big names on both sides of the isle. Same reason they will never ever release an Epstein client list.......
 
She was shot in the back. The cops on the other side of the door could have pepper sprayed her and neutralized the “threat”.

On the other hand, when you make the decision to ignore an armed cop that will err on the side of going home safe -you gotta own your decision.

This is all about running cover for the stolen election in 2024. Plain and simple. No other real reason, other than most of them are political hack prosecutors who have TDS. But the string pullers want there to be a huge cloud over Trump so the media and pundits can right volumes for years about why Biden won reelection being the least popular president in history and despite the economy being terrible come this time next year

I would expect the use of non-lethal force prior to an execution. Maybe walk up to her and grab her wrist and make her submit. Or tase her. Or beanbag her. Or bitch slap her. Or knock her the fuck out.

I don't buy into this idea that they are doing this to bolster Trump's campaign. They don't want him to run, they want him to get the Republican nomination and then argue he's not eligible to run so the GOP is forced to change candidates late in the race. They want to bypass the elective process within the GOP so the party can pick someone they know won't win like Pence.

At a minimum they're going to try to force Trump to have to appeal to the Supreme Court which takes time he won't have. This is far more about tying Trump up in the legal system than it is about giving someone easy for Biden to run against. There's too much exposure and scrutiny to rig the vote again and after 4 years of Biden running the country into the ground, I doubt a race between Biden and Trump is anywhere near as close as it was before.

It's just de facto. Look at Canada and the UK if you want to see where a system with more parties goes.

Our two parties are a symptom of a much larger issue in that the Federal government has amassed power far beyond it's intended scope.

Red herring- I didn't say that was some ideal structure. Show me an election that was otherwise. They're vanishingly rare.

Believe me, I've wasted decades of votes on third parties. Feel free to vote Vivek, or RFK, or whatever wingnut the LP coughs up...it will still be Trump Vs ThePotatoe. The Right as a whole, vs the Left as a whole. You're on one side of that center line, or the other. How far out doesn't matter, when there are only two circles to fill in.

the Libertarian Party had a chance to really do something in 2016 and screwed Austin Peterson out of the nomination like teh Dems screwed Bernie Sanders.

what a complete joke and the same goes for anyone who voted for Gary Johnson and Bill "Booger" Weld. nothing but clowns.

The LP is a fucking joke anyway. Aspirations way outside of reality and too much focus on stupid ass issues no one else cares about like raw milk. Lost me years ago when they went full in on open borders as well. I get it in principle, but in reality it doesn't work.
