The Snowmobile Thread

I'm trying to order Skidoo windshields from fortnine. I've tried three different devices and four different browsers. None of them will add the windscreens to the shopping cart.

Can anyone else have a crack and tell me if it works? If so what browsers. Part #275272 for a 2004 Skidoo Legend. Can't get either windscreen size to add to cart.
I'm overseas so their toll-free support number won't connect.

What engine size? I clicked 700, and it says it won't fit.

Just got back from alpine wy after a couple days on an doo 850 turbo. I’ve never rode at 9k+ feet but it was awesome! Other than being constantly out of breath living at sea level.

Also my uncle has a kick ass hangar home getaway there. Going to need to make this a regular trip.

I’ll do a humble brag thread at some point, the hangers and aircraft he has are amazing. He flew his citation from Dallas to anchorage to pick us up last summer because he wanted to fly to nome for a burger.

Good for him. Glad too see someone with the big boy toys:smokin::usa:

I just accept I'll never make it to the 1% and therefore never have my own jet:flipoff2:

Having a hanger 2nd home is still the goal:homer:

My goal is a ratty old Cessna 150 I can squeeze out of my own 1500' grass strip and not end up homeless maintaining it.

Here I am wanting a new carbon cub lol. If I get the next 2 promotions at work I can legit afford it

I wished I could get myself on the JR4x4 train with racecars and a double wide. Instead I'm playing corporate America with a way to big house for one person and no plane:homer:

A float plane would be :grinpimp: to fly up to my parents lake house and right to their dock.

Same. I like seeing success. That’s where I’m trying to get. Will I? Likely not. But I’ll ask those guys questions and watch what they do.

Growing up in the 80s, the farmer across the street owned a small plane and had a runway. Sometimes there was another plane there. One day the old farmer had a small mishap and crashed into the cornfield.
Never cared for planes that much, just a cool part of my childhood I can vaguely remember. Buckland International Airport.

Snowmobile season is coming soon. :smokin: I’m still waiting on a couple snowcheck machines but kept my old sleds just in case. Also a bump to see if anyone is still interested in an irate ride. Rental houses are filling up fast.

I’m only good for about 60-90 miles on good trails. The old exciter likes to send it!

I am thinking of selling the 4 stroke skidoo and getting a 2 stroke crossover Polaris but I dunno. Not hauling the kids in the pod anymore. My boys old enough to ride 2 up or in his own if I can find a decent 500. I’m hoping okoboji Iowa gets good snow this year to bomb around on.

I’ve switched to Polaris after being on cat, ski-doo, cat, mostly snow checks since 2001. You won’t go wrong with a new Poo crossover. I went with the 22 XCR 850 SB 136 1.6, I grips and really like this sled. Kept my 18 XCR 800 SB and still like riding that as well. Ive been on the fence about the Assault, lack of snow has made that decision confirmed.

I’ll be in the Cable Wi area February 7-12 with all 4 of my kids, staying on Lake Namakagon, and in Marensico Mi February 23-27 with my youngest daughter. If anyone is going to be in those areas feel free to come ride with us.

I could fit one more trip in if we want to get together. I’m not opposed to going to the beater cross races and meeting Panzer. That sounds like fun.
