Silly season: Never heard of this guy. Vivek Ramaswamy Announces His 2024 Presidential Run

I can be critical of Trump and still vote for him, it seems foolish to not critique all of them regardless of affiliation.

After the repubs admonished trump on January 6th I said I wouldn't vote for them again but I can't really say which evil will get my vote just yet, except Biden and Newsom etc., definitely won't be them.

I am christian but i am also smart enough to know alot of the swing issues dont align with hardcore christian values. Most people dont want your religion in their politics. Face it. Things like hardcore stances on abortion and gays are losing stances in todays world. I dont love that but it costs him a pretty decent number of demographics and the core who do care about that are not enough to get people elected and dying off everyday because its a mostly older demographic. The dems understand that and republicans dont. Its why we lose over and over.

Guess I should cross post this from the conspiracy thread. If he's sincere and has a plan to get that accomplished, I'd vote for him.

I thought it was hilarious that Haley and Desantis cut him out of their debate. I suspect they didn't want to deal with answering the questions he was going to bring up.

The only thing, the only negative to him IMHO is how vigorously he overtalks and interrupts the incompetent dishonest media when he doesnt have to. (not in this instance but in many others) I think in most cases he could let them finish and still deal knockout blows with hardly any effort. Boxing nomenclature, counter punching. Sometimes I cringe when I hear these yakking arguments. But on substance, he is easily the most honest candidate with the most integrity. His own words a week or two ago was that he had a major announcement forthcoming in January ??? 10, or 15 ? It was when he ceased advertising on MSM or similar. Thought by many that he would announce he was dropping out. So the Iowa Primary will be shortly in the books. Trump will be naming a VP. Interesting times. :usa:

It's a rich girl in 5th grade and the most popular freshman at the small HS debating a grown man with a master's degree in what's wrong with America.

Can't say i blame 'em. :laughing:
