Rubicon and Pro Touring Cali

Battle of the vistas:flipoff2:
How does one get info on fordyce dam progress?
Fof is not much help...
My friend and retired CDF Captain was a lot of help, and as we get closer my wife’s cousin works for PGE in Santa Rosa and I’ll bug him for info. He will do whatever he can do to answer our questions.

He was aware they’ve been here local to me marking asphalt for future UG installs.

How about renting a u haul and parking it in a secure lot at a casino while your on the trail?
Or see if Camp Richardson will let you rent a spot in their boat yard?

Sorry my buddies didn't work out. He's not sure if he'll even be living there this summer.
We’ve also considered the uhaul rental thing. In hindsight, we should have found an ABNB that would have let us store our stuff for the days we would wheel the Rubicon.

Sluggy my rig will probably be ready to go. I'll just have to see what work looks like. Usually off thursdays/fridays

Getting closer to being done and ready to hit the road. I have a few more mods (steering booster, front inner fenders, finish wiring the winch) to do then start packing up. About 6 weeks out. I’d also like to build a sliding cooler mount.

Post front RCVs, Reid Knuckles, BJ deletes, driveshafts, rear chromos, and 38” Falkens wrapped around some Dirty Life Canyon beadlocks. Mounted my PowerTank stuff tonight.

Looks good. That thing should walk right through the con with little driver effort.

Headed out to the rubicon in July.

Would anyone have a spot to stash a truck trailer for a couple days. Trying to do some sight seeing before hitting the trails.

Basic 20ft flat bed and truck.

I'll bring yuengling

If you end up down around santa curz/ monterey I have plenty of safe parking for whatever

I have parking in the south bay and east bay but that's a hike from the trail head

Yep! I am a bit far from the trailhead, but will take that yuengling off your hands!

Im in Sac, plenty of space.

Near Folsom/Granite Bay. Easy access to Hwy 80 or 50
Thanks everyone, probably hit 70 to 80 in Kansas, then reno I'm guessing. Around July 1 or the 2nd.

My dad hasn't been to california, so we are tentatively planning to roll out earlier than the group. Plan is to stash the tow rig and grab a rental car. Check out muir woods, golden gate, reyes point, Alcatraz, San Francisco area.

Open for suggestions, these are just areas I'm familiar with from exploring during my work travels.

I'll send Yall my # in a PM

Unfortunately not,

Long story short, we had to conform this trip to a friends strict family obligation. So can't shuffle anything.
