Rapey Snap-On Tools

Now that snap on test is in my face space, everyone is weighing in :lmao: , dude will get clicks so that is all that matters.

Pretty sure its just to illustrate the fapoff has looser tolerances than the Chinese wrenches.

Far from a scientific test, but it does make wonder wtf yer paying for.

All my 13mm wrenches are the free ones that come with ikea furniture, so I don't have a dog in this fight. :flipoff2:
If that was what they wanted to illustrate, they failed. The serration in the snapon cut a groove in the plastic.

Video 2 with real bolts

Soulda done it with jammed nuts not welded. You could have sheared that bolt head off with damn near anything at that point.

I got no dog in the fight, I love my Icon wrenches and my Snap-On wrenches.

Clamp a vicegrip on the flare wrench, or break'er loose with vice grips alone is my go to for stuck ones.:flipoff2:

Is there a Snap on clone of Vice Grips?

eh?

for the record, I don't care for them and they're the last ones I ever reach for...

As an additional follow up it looks like the Blue Point locking pliers are now the Grip-On pliers

I've had this set over 40 years, started as a basic set and added to over the years.
Used em every day when we were in the coin laundry business. Used up screwdriver tips like mad, the dealer hated me. Used that speed handle a lot too.

These pliers are bad ass, the tension on this spring is just over 56 lbs and requires a ¼ turn to get it in place. The teeth didn't dull one bit and the spring never slipped.

I have those tools, they are worthless in this situation.
I have a bunch of different brake pliers, one set I think is Blackhawk has a little divot in the tip that you put the spring tip in, then hook into the show hole and rock the pliers dropping the spring into the hole if luck is on your side. :grinpimp:

That type of shoe you pictures was designed to be installed without tools. Install the right shoe, hook the spring the shoe for the left side, dangle the spring into the right shoe then put the shoe up against the lower stop and the wheel cylinder. Push the shoes against the backing plate and they drop into place. You're welcome. :flipoff2:

That isn't going to be any easier.

I explain it like a moron but it's the fastest possible way to install shoes on an assembly line. It's why the spring is made the way it is so it can stay attached to both sides while the left shoe is perpendicular to the backing plate.

Was invoiced for a premium t50 security socket and given a Mac Tools import line off a local truck yesterday if we want to talk about being raped
