If that was what they wanted to illustrate, they failed. The serration in the snapon cut a groove in the plastic.Pretty sure its just to illustrate the fapoff has looser tolerances than the Chinese wrenches.
Far from a scientific test, but it does make wonder wtf yer paying for.
All my 13mm wrenches are the free ones that come with ikea furniture, so I don't have a dog in this fight.
Clamp a vicegrip on the flare wrench, or break'er loose with vice grips alone is my go to for stuck ones.
Soulda done it with jammed nuts not welded. You could have sheared that bolt head off with damn near anything at that point.Video 2 with real bolts

I've been using vise grips instead of the stupid rounding off wrenches.Clamp a vicegrip on the flare wrench, or break'er loose with vice grips alone is my go to for stuck ones.
Is there a Snap on clone of Vice Grips?

I have the Grip-On version and on several of them the locking lever inside the upper handle pops out. Super annoyingeh?
for the record, I don't care for them and they're the last ones I ever reach for...
Get the new ones. Trust meeh?

Except SO bought their tooling and design and all they have left is current stock. IDGAF about them saying SO on them, I would have bought Malco’s.Or if you don't need the "service" just buy the Malco Eagle Grips.
Why’d you be rounding things off where you live?I've been using vise grips instead of the stupid rounding off wrenches.
That's what I'm trying to figure out, the tube nuts aren't even "that tight", but the hex stripps before coming loose. Why’d you be rounding things off where you live?
I have those tools, they are worthless in this situation.$15 for the right tools would have saved you $100.
I've never found a brake they worked better than needle nose (for the pins and springs) and vise grips (for the big springs) onI have those tools, they are worthless in this situation.

I have a bunch of different brake pliers, one set I think is Blackhawk has a little divot in the tip that you put the spring tip in, then hook into the show hole and rock the pliers dropping the spring into the hole if luck is on your side.I have those tools, they are worthless in this situation.
spring the shoe for the left side, dangle the spring into the right shoe then put the shoe up against the lower stop and the wheel cylinder. Push the shoes against the backing plate and they drop into place. You're welcome.
That isn't going to be any easier.
