Had a need for a strong 1/2”
Not quite half….That’s a new addition. Those are handy as hell. I have not had good luck with them living on an impact though...
fwiw over half the space in your tool box is foam
I have the 1/4" and 3/8" sets of those. Very handy. You will spin that head right off if you put too much muscle on them though...Had a need for a strong 1/2”
I have them in 3/8 wobble plus, been good to me for a long time. Kind of have to use your head with them.I have the 1/4" and 3/8" sets of those. Very handy. You will spin that head right off if you put too much muscle on them though...

I kill those in a couple of years. Most other brands make it a month but I have a SK that has been good too.And this is what you need to live up to an impact…. Had it 30 years or so.

I’ve had a 1/2” and 3/8” snappy since the early 90’s I still use to this day. They’ve both been highly abused used throughout the years as well. Like running a 1/2” impact on the 3/8” swivel kind of abuse. But I guess some people can break an anvil.I kill those in a couple of years. 🤮Only ones of those that survive for me are Matco pinless.
You do know I turned wrenches for a living for 8 years right?Guys using shit everyday, find the weak points
yeah put too much torque on them and first the end smashes and the ball goes into hiding, then it snaps off the end with a little moreThose are handy as hell. I have not had good luck with them living on an impact though...
for a little while the craftsman ones were the cool four winged style of universal joint, rather than the pin and ballAnd this is what you need to live up to an impact…. Had it 30 years or so.
Yea but the salesman part removed all credibility
Comeawn ankle nipper, you gotta grow some real teeth if you wanna make a bite count.Salesman part still says you're a liar and jobbed that out....
I mean lets be real here. You have what 4 weeks into not finishing some plywood treehouses?
How many years did that mall crawler take?
You mean the loads I post up once in a while? I’m not a hot shot driver if that’s what you’re implying. I have two company trucks, a 2500 diesel and a 1500 pickup. My travels these last couple days to Memphis and Paducah are in my 1500 no loads. That’s about all you need to know really.Thats why yer hauling those half loads?
Oh Kay, ifn you say so ankle nipper.answers my question perfectly

Would you two just meet up and tug each other off and get it out of your system?

Bolts that should turn easily don’t in the rust belt. FlufferI’ve had a 1/2” and 3/8” snappy since the early 90’s I still use to this day. Old craftsman. Why would you want that? What brand do you guys use for deep broach deep sockets?
they're handier than shallow broached ones, especially in tight placesWhy would you want that?
Handier how? They just piss me off when the nut or short bolt falls too far inside of it.they're handier than shallow broached ones, especially in tight places
old craftsman ones in my box too
There are times when you want a deep broach, but I agree, most times you want a shallow broachHandier how? They just piss me off when the nut or short bolt falls too far inside of it.
If it's cheap, it's typically full broach as the mfgr. process is cheaper.I have some full broach MACs in sensor sizes, and an old USA made set of 1/2 broach Benchtop from KMart in the 80's. None of them are flank type drive. Just wondering if there was a decent cheap modern option out there for when thaey end up being the right tool for the job in a tight spot.
I do have one Pittsburg 22mm impact that i found on the road that is nearly full depth.
All my old craftsman are less than 1/2 broach.
