I rather not have skinned knucke/ rounded off hex cheap...
ah, most of the mid-price stuff is full broach too. Look at Grey Products Duo sockets. I beat da fuq out of them with an impact, thinner walls than reg. impact sockets, and seem to maintain their shape good.

I guess that I haven't run into that problem.
you do work on some modern garbage, but not all day every day
I've run into it a few times, but it isn't an everyday thing

Bolts that should turn easily don’t in the rust belt. Fluffer :flipoff2:
I live in Missouri and before “climate change” we used to get a lot of snow/ice = salt or the liquid calcium sprayed on the roads. If bolts are that bad, I either heat them up or burn them off.

Lol. You see craigslist ads here that say "rust free Missouri car"

The pinless matco swivels are better for air impacts, cordless explodes them right quick

battery impacts have an odd spring-biased jaw clutch impact mechanism, it really doesn't like anything with windup to it like long extensions or torque sticks

When I got a job at a Toyota store back in '99, I bought a 10,12, 14, and 17mm swivel impact socket (pin type...that's all there was at the time). On the rare occasion that I needed a 19mm, I'd stick a shallow socket on a swivel adapter.

I warrantied the 14mm once I think....because the ring wore through and the pin came out. All the others are still used daily and still the originals.

Best use of a Cornwall ratchet. :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

the two pin punches combined with the lifetime warranty kinda makes the case for the price point

them fuckers are gonna be the sorta thing that the truck guy will need to stock five of, then still always be out of them

My dealer just called to get me a new set of torque wrenches because i had asked air getting just a case a year ago. $2200 for 1/4 3/8 and 1/2. Then he would take $600 off if i traded my current ones in. I didn't need a case or matching ones that badly

Not SnapOn but Mac.

WTF.

I have a smaller snapon set, it was on sale when I bought it. I warranty them all the time. Beating on races, pump sleeves, and hardened concrete pump seats takes a toll on air hammer bits. I probably warranty a dozen or more a year. Buying a good air hammer and bits has save my body a lot of wear vs swinging a hammer.

I'm surprised you guys dont have several of these floating around. Other than chipping guns for welding the 4 inch version of this is about as small as we go.
