Wife: I’m not eating. What do you want for dinner?
Me: We have pastrami, right?
Wife: yes.
Me: Then make me a sammich. (Said it just like that. Yep, I sure did…)

30 minutes or so later, delivered to me while I’m sitting on the couch watching TV:

Made some tacos the other weekend.

Smoked a chuck roast for 4hrs, put it in some beer/Worcestershire/beef broth and veggies and roasted it for a couple hours, then chopped it all up and put it on the flat top with a little Monterey jack.

The veggies and a cup of the broth mixture got blended to make a salsa/sauce/whatever you call it.

Toasted some tortillas and chopped some onions/cilantro.

Needed heat, I avoided adding jalapenos because of the family, but it was pretty tasty.

Yesterday I fed myself and a good friend.

Baked taters with air fryer chicken breasts and vegetables. Colby jack cheese for topper.

Today, I made taters with fried/baked onions and smoked salmon. Also added Colby jack cheese to finish it off.

Bowl of soup.

Homemade hashbrowns (grated two potatoes), with fried banana peppers and onions. Cheese added towards the end.

Two eggs over easy to finish it off.

(Have hashbrown leftovers for tomorrow)
