Looks like a Brazilian / Portagee thing. I was adopted into a Portagee family, I’ve never heard of it. But… my family elders were not very gifted with cooking over fire skills.

Did they own a dairy? All portagee I know own dairys.

Picanha. Momma cut off the fat layer. $30cdn at Costco. I told her we should fill a freezer just with these things.

Thyme, sage, rosemary, onion powder garlic powder and olive oil. Sealed and sous-vide cooked, then seared on the fire pit.

It really was one of the best meals I've had.

Fine dining on the road.
Decided to sample these for lunch/dinner earlier, typically for me it is banana and peanut butter, fish for lunch/dinner.

Passable. Beats some of the fast food greasy crap.
