25lb whole pork shoulder. Went on the smoker 7pm Christmas night. Smoked for 14 hours. Took another 6 hours covered in a pan to finish. Bones pulled right out, and was fighting off our guests as I was trying to shred it. They weren't waiting for dinner!
I like doing these whole shoulders over the standard pork butts. The pork tastes more like a whole pig roast.

mobil1syn do you have the recipe for this posted somewhere? We had this at a Mexican wedding they we went to and have not been able to make it like the ladies did. I asked the groom (he is my neighbor) but he doesnot cook. He still hasnt got me a recipe.

Dumbass kids ate krap dinner.
