Do you catch them in nets or do you have to reel them in like they do up in New England because of regulations?

we hand line them all. our target species is albacore. they only grow to about 120 lbs but only bite on the surface till they are around 40 lbs.

most of it was covered in this thread off shore fishing

Had a contractor call this morning and say they have a trench open and we need to put conduit in by end of day because they are pouring it shut tomorrow morning. Ok, thanks for the heads up. My guys were all booked so I left the office at 2, grabbed my 14yo daughter and got there at 3. Put 200’ of 3 1/2” and 200’ of 1” in the trench and backfilled it in 2 hours. She was good help.

"Sucks to be you, a duct bank with no conduit is just a concrete filled hole" :flipoff2:

To be honest, I kinda freaked out on the guy.

It’s for a school building that is about 5 blocks from my house and the district I’m on the board for. They pulled their equipment out before I got there so I drove my skid loader there to backfill when we were done. I told our facilities guy that he owes me a beer.

If it was that close, yes I'd help too. But I HATE contractors that pull that shit.
