My wife lost her ring a couple months ago, and luckily it was insured because it actually had value, both sentimental and monetary.
Now last Saturday we were at the beach and mine fell off somewhere. We were pretty far from the beach when I noticed it wasn’t on my finger. Weird thing is I remember hearing people talking about a wedding band as they walked behind me. We were hoping it was on my night stand because more often than not, I take it off at night because I swell up…. It wasn’t there. Looking at our pictures, we could see it on my finger when we got to the beach, so it definitely fell off somewhere out there.

I couldn’t stand not wearing it, so today I found my program from when I originally made it. I had some 6Al-4V on hand so I whipped up a new one.
