What's new

Must have M-18 tools

Correct, well no real difference compared to a similar Ho battery. Probably still an upgrade over older batteries.

What did you kill? I thought you had posted about ten year old tools you used frequently gave up the ghost. In “heavy use” case can really only expect 5 years before the tool gets worn out.

Ryobi?
Latest was a couple weeks ago. A couple year old 1/2" impact.

So far this year a 1/2" drill, 4.5" grinder, metal cut saw, 6.5? Circ saw, and the impact

model number?

I'm interested in an angrier drill than the "brushless" but not "fuel" one I've currently got
tried getting a hole hawg but I bought the stupid single-speed one that doesn't have any torque at all, luckily I was able to return it
I'm referring to this one. It's world's better than the first gen.

Yep as stated fuel has bigger head but a little more ugga duggas. You’re supposed to loosen it with the ratchet action then spin off the fastener with the electric part. If your shit is really rusty it may struggle a bit especially on larger fasteners.

Bigger head though..
Not by much though. The high speed fuel has a normal sized head, not the giant 1/2" drive sized head of the normal speed version.

Fuel high speed and 2 non fuel. Very comparable. And yes, full chooch and jam it on the bolt works most of the time.

lol you break the fastener loose by hand then use the ratchet to spin it out. Not made to make big torque, the fuel one is a bit better.
I realize that, but it'll barely turn anything other than barely over finger tight.
I can easily stall it just by holding the socket.
The 1/2" one isn't as bad but it's huge.

Let that bitch get up to full rpm then cram it on the bolt
Yep. It won’t work everytime but it will sometimes. Use the shit outta mine. I lost my regular 3/8 ratchet for a while and didn’t notice because I’m always using the m12

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet...but this band file fucking rocks. Had some real rusty bolts holding the exhaust together on my old Land Cruiser. The earth had reclaimed them to the point that the heads were just round nubs where a hex head used to be. I was able to get this band file in between the cats and flanges and buzz down the heads of the bolts until they were gone and disassemble the exhaust. I bought it last year on black friday, not sure of its usefulness. It just paid for itself 3x.
