What's new

Must have M-18 tools

I use the rubber paddle to get the gravel off my grass every spring. It works great, but it is a freakin workout.

I have not used the bristle broom yet
I used to rake my 1000ft driveway every spring 5 hours later I was hatting life, got a rubber paddle 1 hour tops , it is a work out the wife couldn't handle it.

Never understood why you would want a saw that doesn’t take a standard size blade. 7 1/4 on the baby miter, table and circular saw.

For reasons

In my trailer, I have 3 m18 fuel saws. The 6 1/2 blade right, 7 1/4 rear handle blade left. And rear handle 7 1/4 blade left.

The 6 1/2 is my favorite. It is light and easy to use.

The 7 1/4 rear handle is a beast. It has way more power. But it is awkward doing certain jobs

The 7 1/4 blade right rarely gets used. I only carry it for the rare occasion I need to cut rafters with a backwards angle.

Don't tell him about beam saws, he might stroke out on us.

Guess I don’t see the added utility for the extra expense and stock, also when you employ Mongoloids it’s just another thing for them to misuse. The potato’s have a 12ah in a 1/2 drill and a 2ah in a miter or circular saw, I just shake my head.

At least a beam saw has a special purpose that can’t really easily be replaced.

God dammit.

Got the small metal one and bought the 7 1/4" rear handle for my father, this is too good to pass up.

And the sawzall and battery at that price?

Sawzall battery isn’t screaming but it’s good if you’re looking to pick one up, that’s the usual discounted price plus $10 per ah for the battery.

Depending what you’re doing the hacksaw might be better suited, we end up using the hacksaw about twice as much as the sawzall. It’s easier for one handing things and smaller cuts not cutting completely through walls and such.

I bought it because I’m sick of running the cord out into the yard if I need to cut branches or something. I passed on a hackzall deal a few months ago and wishing I had just gotten it

Not sure on your battery situation but if you want the bare tool you can save a few bucks.

With a large pruning blade you can cut down small 10"+ tree's or at least I have it's kind of fun and not much of a challenge.

I have (2) 3.0 and I think 5 of the 5.0
I may just get the hackzall too and return the sawzall. I didn’t check prices on them, just got the slickdeals email and thought it was a decent deal

$208 here.

#8 HO battery is $179 in its own, so $30 for a saw isn't bad.

Mine was let a whiff if smoke out the other day.

Variable speed 5" grounder with free mid torque 1/2" impact for $220.

Go figure just bought another grinder like a month ago to replace a crappy paddle style.

My wife uses the shit out of Instacart for grocery pickup. I’ve been buying $100 Instacart gift cards at Costco for $80. I get this deal yesterday:

That puts me quite a few bucks ahead for anything HD carries and I can get on sale.

That impact has the pin detent. Pass

Only if you have enough impacts for every socket.

Most people need more than one so ket size on any given project.
On 99% of sockets they're fine, just push the pin in and it grips the detents inside the square drive. When you want to use the pin lock feature for say lug nuts etc just pick the hole in the socket to line up with the pin.

I'm not that smart of a wrench holder  :homer:

Glad you mentioned it, was going to buy it.

My high torque shit the bed yesterday.
Out of the blue won't work. Got it to go a few times banging it around, but something is fucked.

Not having luck with this shit. In the last ~4 months killed a drill, metal dry saw, grinder, and now this.
