Once the M12 inflator hits the over temp like I did and posted about, you might as well return it. It took a shit today after about 30 seconds. Noise changed, sounded like it blew out any diaphragm it had inside. I’ve never had to return something that came with a set of multiple tools.

Includes a couple Aston martins, ultimate man cave and probably close to 100k in Milwaukee tools & packouts
Wonder how many got used beyond stuffing a battery and turning it on and off a few times

I picked up the M18 inflator yesterday for $145 on sale.

Been a few times I need to put wind in a tire that's not near my air compressor or a PITA to drag out a hose.
Curious if it'll do a flat 11r24.5.

Keeping my eye on batteries. What I thought were #5s I got in 2013 are only #4s and they are about shot.

And was worth ~$600k according to Zillow's own price tracker until about February this year? Something smells off to me. Even more off than my neighbor's place that Z claimed was worth $400k and middle-of-the-range for the block until they listed it for $490k, suddenly Z showed it as worth $530k and the most-valuable house on the block. Incidentally, they've since dropped asking to $460k and can't get it to move at that.

Any which way, it struck me as pretty dumb to roll a half-mil-plus worth of not-real-estate personal property into future property tax bills.

It would not have a long life doing that too often. Mine seems to just kind of give up around 60psi. When It was new I aired a couple up to 80. It could be how hot it is outside too. It seems to get hot and just not do much beside make noise and kind of air up. The hose gets super hot.

Anymore I dont try to air anything up much over 35psi. At that point I can at least get it to a real airpump.

It could be the fact I am using 5.0 batteries. But even with a fresh one it does the same.

At that rate. It is still one of my favorite tools and gets used the most often.

In any furnished house sale, Typically, at closing there would be a bill of sale for the value of the furnishings etc drawn up separate from the value attributed to the home and land.

If a mortgage were involved that would be a requirement, and home amount based on appraised value.

I typically use my inflator for re-inflating jeep tires in the yard when I'm too lazy to drag out my long air hose from the house or get the on-board air going, and it works great for that. I have used it several times on my D rated trailer tires no problem, but I have used them on my buddies E rated trailer tires and it'll do the 80 PSI, but it definitely isn't the efficient way to do it and I'm not surprised that people have durability problems doing it. I also have a 580 with a leaky rear tire, and it'll do that but boy does it take a long time, and its warm after. I don't think anybody thought it was a viable replacement for shop air, but I'd say for its intended purpose, its a pretty good tool.

I think buying the HO batteries at this point is dumb, ive had problems with 8.0, 9.0, 12.0 batteries. Im buying forges now and i hope they end up more reliable. Feels like they are clearing out dead weight to me.

I've heard that they're even less reliable
ain't they lipo pouch cells?
they're historically a lot more fragile than ye olde tin can cells

No deals I’ve found on forges. I have yet to have a problem with my 6.0s or 12.0s but I’m not too hard on batteries.

I keep starting the cases on fire on "that one corner" because of cutoff wheel sparks
hope it doesn't affect the warranty too badly

6.0s seem fine for me but i have 2 12.0 that wont charge past 3 bars even after draining and recharging. The 9.0 everyone knows is garbage, and the replacement 8.0 for my one that randomly died lives on my hedgetrimmer for a hopefully easy life. That said i may have just bought a grinder and 12.0 that were right above me:homer:

Im aware of the balance issue, but i am of the opinion that its not my fuckin problem.

Plus i hand them to the owner at work and he makes new ones show up because hes a dealer, so theres that.

picked this up last night. Needed the saw and just picked that up, on the way home noticed an offer taped to the box, free xc8 battery. Score. Went back to home depot and picked up the battery.

Used it today to trim the door, butter smooth with a 40 tooth diablo blade.
