I keep wanting to cancel but then I keep remembering it's only $5/mo. It's hard to be petty over that. But I'm getting really close.
 
With the many months lead time they have for shows I guess it's too much to hope they'd staggered the releases so we had something to watch but nooooo that's impossible so we have to wait 6 months for every fucking show to have new episodes at the same time. :homer:

I've been trying to watch the "Runs Good" series. I like the premise of the show, but the one host Dan is making it nearly unwatchable.

He's taking the "stupid stoner car guy" shtick too far. It seems like the other 2 guys don't want anything to do with him.

Only show I miss is engine masters. Might bay a few bucks to binge it one of these days.
 
I like Engine Masters, Four wheeler is good But Ian hardly finishes shit, and he's just a talking head for products alot of the time.

Fuck that stupid British Motor Shit Shed show.

That's my complaint. You see a neato project (the newest cab over toter thing, his version of low budget pimpin) that's not bolting shit on Jeeps and it just stalls.
 
I watch Ian's youtube channel a bit. He is running 3 or 4 shows out of that shop. It does seem like sponsored builds get priority but that makes sense so I can't really be mad. Not like the guy is not working his ass off, and it being just him in the shop there is not drama to worry about.
 
Was watching road worthy rescues that Dave is on and they introduced him as a “host of dirt every day”.

Just seemed odd considering they got rid of ded for that show. It came off to me as “this is the guy we fired when we hired you.” Maybe it was edited before ded got fired just an odd choice of words considering it was cancelled, in my opinion.

Werd. Finnegan was just kind of a long for the ride while newburn did the heavy lifting.

Now Finnegan is more interested in doing videos of himself opening fan mail. Yea nothing I'd rather watch than some dude opening presents while babbling about building cool shit eventually. :homer:

I am continually surprised at some of the mistakes they make and a lot of things they genuinely don't seem to know though. Like the transmission stuff on the crown Vic. It was just bullshit after bullshit.

They are pretty entertaining otherwise though

What has he actually built lately? Everything I saw was him paying someone to do xyz to a car/ boat or truck and him bolting on parts from sponsors.

If I wanted to watch that I would tune into powerblock or whatever they are calling the bolt on shows now.

I honestly used to think he was decent at fab but obviously I was grossly incorrect.
 
He'd meticulously cut out and TIG together some really petty bracket that doesn't need that level of care and then turn right around and slap a used cylinder hear on something without doing any sort of checking it out. He'd be lost if he actually had to fab major structural shit like a cage, frame, links from scratch, etc, etc.
