Matt's Off Road Recovery.

I havent watched Marty T, but he sounds similar to Diesel Creek. He drags old equipment home, or fixes it where it sits and drives it home. I think you can count on one hand the number of sponsored ads he has done, outside of making sure you can tell Kroil is his preferred penetrating oil.

I found this Kiwi fella on youtube awhile ago that is the personification of the "downhome" youtuber you're describing.

Basically his schtick is being led to/ finding broken down/ abandoned heavy equip/ ag equipment in the jungle, driving it out, dragging it home, giving it a full fluid service, then putting it to work grading the long ass mountain road up to his house. I literally cannot for the life of me get enough of it. His voice is dry and stoic as fuck but he's just so direct and to the point that I find him easy as fuck to listen to. And he does an awesome job checking over neglected tractors, replacing all their fluids and putting them back into service.
Here's a primer video I recommend if anyone gives a shit.

Watched the first 30 seconds.... skipped ahead midway and saw wrench turning on the manifold. Fast forward till end.

You owe me 2 minutes of my life back. What a colossal waste of time and no knowledge gained. Why do people watch this shit?

I did that with a David Brown 880 a few years back, but it had a broken steering gearbox.

They were great, the dog coming up to the judges table at ~1:45 looking for treats was great as well.

I actually searched for a while and gave up on finding what I thought was reality. Apparently the image I had in my head was formed when I was about 14 going to my cousin's horse races and seeing the high school girls competing.

He outlines will complete class 8 trails of 10 which puts it in a different class than other "heavy" wreckers I am sure.
What would you call it?
Damn you nitpickers always amaze me. He already acknowledge that it wasn't military heavy wrecker what more do you want for him to commit Hara-Kiri on screen for offending your sensibilities by a "Heavy Wrecker" .

I think we are on the same team? :rainbow:
I said I like it, I said it has to complete class 8 trails (per matt) to achieve his described "worlds largest off road wrecker".

Not nitpicking, stating details from the vid cause I know most of these complainers won't watch.

Meh, B/A makes a lot of hook cluster for the towing industry but this thing just seems like an answer to a question no one asked. And I don't care who made the cluster, hooking to a ball is a horrible idea, mainly because so many of the balls are cheap junk. Hooking the link inside the receiver with the hitch pin is probably not the smartest thing either since hitch pins are also a usually cheaply made item and trying to get a bent one out of a receiver is not a lot of fun. Been there, done that after slipping a strap loop into a receiver and hooking it on a cheap pin.

Something like a Chain Connector U Bracket: Chain Connector U Bracket : Ratchet Straps : Lodi Metals, Inc sized to fit over the pin to connect to their large link would probably help with that:
