The trans thing is pretty simple IMO. We already acknowledge there's a legal difference between children and adults. We have age limits on driving cars, voting, drinking alcohol, joining the military, etc. If you're a legal adult and you want to chop your dick off, have a blast. I wouldn't recommend it, but best of luck. Under 18? No. You're a child and can't be trusted to make such a life altering decision. Teaching it in school? No, we teach biology in school. Genetics is real and doesn't care about your feelings. You can't identify as being 7' tall and a freak athlete either when you're a pudgy 5'9" guy Well, I mean you can if you want but good luck getting the world to play along with it.

If they can convince their doctor and parents that it’s in their best interest medically, then government shouldn’t be involved.

Idk if you need to be a doctor to see the results of these surgeries and know that the surgery 100% doesn’t create anything that’s functional, looks good or is something you’d want to put in your mouth or put your mouth on.

This has always been the rational approach any level-headed person used to arrive at regardless of political affiliation. But we are no longer living in those times because of hyper polarization. The left particularly, would rather harm children than admit they share any common ground with anyone on the right. Just look at how the beliefs associated with COVID all tended to fall along political lines. Democrats used to be smart enough to understand so much of the COVID bullshit wasn't based on science, but saying so would have ceded ground to the right, so instead we were all forced to live through three years of insanity.

So, either you trust The State to be in charge of who can make medical decisions or you're just full of shit and don't really have a clue how any of this actually works.

Even when it's "private" it's always some state-adjacent professional organization who's intertwined with the state and who's bureaucracy the state simply delegates to for licensing. And this goes for basically every career field involving licensing, not just the .gov.

Anyone who's acting like that's not de-facto government deserves to be treated like a politician because clearly they lie like one.

GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT BE INVOLVED IN MEDICAL CARE IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM

It’s really simple. I don’t think the government should be able to force your kids to get vaccinated, or tell you any other procedures you can or cannot provide to your children. I trust the parents and doctors more than I trust the government.
