I just moved to a new city, and the election for city council was right before we moved in. My neighbor is the councilman for my ward. He's very much a "leave people alone" kind of guy, so I don't see myself running against him when his current term is up. I have applied for board position when one of the boards has an opening.

Not just me. There’s more people like me who fall in the middle. I’m right of center, could possibly be represented by some left of center. And I don’t care if we start over. I never like the name libertarian anyway. That liber at the beginning is a problem. Too easy to get equated with liberalism.

The current libertarian candidate ran off countless supporters of the party. They feel their party just left them and now they need a party that truly stands for their beliefs. Now what?

This whole 3 party thing becomes more and more of a joke everyday. Chase Oliver just proved it.

He's basically a functional real world libertarian who values personal liberties above all else but sees the pitfalls in idealistic libertarian ideas like open borders. They just don't work in the real world. Strong border policies actually work to strengthen individual liberties for Americans as do not reinforcing LGBTQ stuff in kids. Don't indoctrinate kids with crap but let adults be adults. Don't fund foreign wars just to play geopolitical chess that doesn't actually further the interests of American citizens as a whole. Ukrainian sovereignty isn't an American interest. Neither is providing Israel weapons to bomb a largely unarmed population. Not our fucking problems.
