First I'd like to echo the others by saying this is an
excellent resource, thank you
! I've been playing with this now for a while now. I fear I've read this thread, the old forum, internet posts, and the linked suspension bible too many times, I keep changing my mind on what "Looks Good" To get the upper link frame side height ill be cutting up the floor. Please Flame away!
New England/East Coast based. Flat Belly (fingers crossed) JKU, SD 60,14 bolt, 40" Nitto's, 17x9 4.5" Back Space, COG is Top Of Bellhousing bolt, 3.8L 6 speed 4:1 no high speed desert action, mostly lower speed crawling and trail running. Id like to drive it on the highway/road now and again.
-How much is too much roll slope? Will I breath on the steering wheel and change 3 lanes with 3.9* positive front 0.3* rear roll slope? I'm having a difficult time reducing the roll slops as doing so jacks up the antis. I'm now questioning if flat belly is as good as it seems to be or do i lower the frame side lowers down 2" and get the frt roll slope closer to positive 1* and the rear -2.5?
-Will having only(?) 8 or 9" of front axle side vertical link separation tear the link mount off the axle tube/truss?
