Future of KOH 4400 chassis/car development?

Shit! Just got off the phone with dad. I’m at work and leaving later today. One of our guys was towing his rzr in a 20 foot enclosed trailer behind his 40 foot diesel pusher motor home. the 12" drop hitch to make the connection from the big ass motor home to the little bumper pull broke. Then the safety chains broke. Trailer hit the bank and tipped over on its side. They pulled my little Bronco out of the race trailer and used it to winch the trailer back onto its wheels. The pictures are from after tipping trailer back over. The rzr stayed tied down and didn't get hurt. Chuck is headed to Yucca to go try to find a new drop hitch. Dad is working on the trailer. I’m on standby waiting to hear what else we need to bring with us to recover the fumble.

If it does rain as some say (I believe fuckall when it comes to forecasts), whoever's co-dawg has the best foot-speed to run the winch line out. :flipoff2:

  • lolo and wolf break out before lap
two
  • bailey the girl will be the fastest campbell
  • slawson will finish 7th
  • chase caprarra will be a top 10
  • jordan will have an issue on lap 2, but will finish in the dark

Nice in-depth projections.

Slawson is racing in 4800 and then they'll do a re-prep for Amber Turner to drive it in 4400.

Thanks for the clarification. I’d only heard of the plans for the 4800 car so that’ll be cool.

meaning the 35" maxxis is bigger than the 37" toyo? im confused? They are clearly bigger than the BFG
 
I'm not able to watch all of qualifying live today. Are there any 4400 cars that pushing the envelope of design or tech this year?

Latest Triton and Scherer's car is probably what's best in today's world.
Not sure how much you consider them pushing the envelope though, they are somewhat similar in conception (mid engine behind the cockpit, IFS with portals, solid rear axle).
 
Throw in a handful of fully independent cars (Pelligrino, Lasernut, one Gomez with TTB rear, etc) but those have all been out for a few years now.

Throw in the live valve shocks as well but those have been out for a few years too.

Unless they are doing something different I wouldn't consider that new.

I'd count bringing back old tech that was set aside as envelope pushing.

Are there any FIS single seat rigs besides the Gomez TTB?

Is there at least anyone trying an oddball engine or fuel type?

Kevin Jones is trying to get an older homemade FIS single seater race ready after a roll yesterday broke lots of things.

Pharr could be in consideration for oddball overall in the Stock class.

They said yesterday he was going to qualify, but I didn't hear anything after that.

Based on years past, the EV would start after the last Stock class entry. So qualifying wouldn’t be beneficial other than as a testing ground.
