Fuck around and find out (Israel / Palestine version)

I’m just thinking about this is prospective, Gaza is 140 square miles, a typical suburb township/city is 36 square miles, so Gaza is about the size of 4 townships/cities.
How in the fuck do these ragheads have all these tunnels, the whole place must have a subterranean metropolis. You almost have to blowup the whole place and from some of the pictures I see the IDF is doing just that.
The place is going to be a gravel pit.

Along those lines, where did they put all the dirt they dug out. There should be mountains of it somewhere.

same thing Andy did when digging thru the wall of his cell in Shawshank? dump it out in the street a little at a time and nobody would notice the street level is up 4-5" over the length of the block if done little by little?

Before/After images.

That's a lot of military targets. :homer:

It looks like they are fighting to win. Our military doesn't know anything about that.

Yep, I thought about that. Then how did they dig all these tunnels? Also det all the concrete and materials and my number 1 question.... where did the money come from??

The people in Gaza are considered "refugees" because of that status the UN feeds them, that's probably why Trump says we need out of the UN.

People have wisely determined that the fighting on Gaza is the direct result of the free flow of traffic on north bound I5 near Pine Street in Seattle. Cease fire is imminent.

There is a solution for those people who block roads while protesting.

They're fighting to take more land and expand their borders.

No. :shaking:
Cheesus.

Israel has returned land they paid in blood for after every war, every time they were attacked. They could have annexed Cairo, Damascus, Beirut, the entirety of the Nation of Jordan if they do what you say. Their border would extend from Turkey to Saudi Arabia and Sudan to the Euphrates River that divides Iraq.

I think you mean they are going to re-assert control over Gaza to prevent it from returning to a missile launching base directly on their border. ?? Please say it is so :pinky:

Your telling me if you had been bombed for your entire life you wouldn't be building underground? Shit the US has never been bombed in any meaningful way and there is underground bunkers all over the place.

As far as material, they are literally rebuilding significant portions of Gaza every couple of years. Whats another couple truckloads on a job?

I think you forgot he was the holocaust denying tard when there was that whole thing over fleckers meme bs.

I thought it was said earlier in the thread that they stopped that since it was contaminating groundwater?

i agree it's a super cheap way to drown all the rats in the tunnels though.

Anyone know if they are still pumping sea water into the tunnels? That has to be a cheap way to fix the problems and stop future tunnels from being dug if the ground is saturated.

There is so many tunnels inland Israel was only able to get to the coastal ones.

And the ones they did flood worked great.:smokin::grinpimp:

Recall the twin blasts in Iran that killed over 100 (at initial report) at the march honoring the blown to tiny pieces General Soleimani. Israel denied responsibility. After a week or two, ISIS claimed responsibility. Now, Iran has bombed alleged ISIS camps in Pakistan. That is a hole new escalation and inflammation of the Religion of Peace. From Newsmax.

As Iran Escalates, Rising Risk of a Wider Regional War

Pakistan recalled its ambassador to Tehran on Wednesday, a day after Iran conducted airstrikes inside Pakistan that it claimed targeted bases for a militant Sunni separatist group.

Islamabad denounced the attack as a “blatant violation” of its airspace and said it killed two children.

Tuesday's airstrikes in Pakistan's restive southwestern Baluchistan province imperiled diplomatic relations between the two neighbors, but both sides appeared wary of provoking the other. Iran and nuclear-armed Pakistan have long regarded each other with suspicion over militant attacks.

The attack raised the threat of violence spreading in a Middle East unsettled by Israel's war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Iran also staged airstrikes late Monday in Iraq and Syria over an Islamic State-claimed suicide bombing that killed over 90 people earlier this month. Iraq recalled its ambassador from Iran for consultations.

I just never heard anything about tunnels before, I think maybe a couple time during Dessert Storm. That’s quite an undertaking to construct all those tunnels, and they built them through cities, under hospitals and schools.

When the media talks about a tunnel between Mexico and the US they always say how one tunnel cost millions and took a long time to build.

Labor is cheap over there, and the dirt they removed for the tunnels is used to make shitty concrete for buildings and shoring.
Probably doesn’t make a dent in the money that we funnel through the UN to them.

Those "millions" are probably what it would cost if built to American codes following American regulations and adhering to all the EPA, OSHA, etc. regulations then doubled or tripled to sound more impressive. Those cartels aren't spending millions of dollars per tunnel.

Folks in the area finally getting tired of Iran’s bullshit?

(With :usa: in the area to help cover their asses ?)
Sounds like Iran seems to be the very epicenter of a lot (all...?) of the current and in-recent-memory unrest in the region, aimed at MANY targets. Maybe they should be dealt with in a more decisive manner?

I'm pretty sure they have been tunneling since at least the 90s (I remember hearing news reports about tunnels along with suicide bombers as a kid). Labors basically free, life expectancy is like age 30, and the Israeli AF has been bombing them for my entire life they should exclusively building underground and leaving the surface as a giant urban combat trap for the Israelis.

As far as the media, if you are ever curious as to their expertise. Go find a news story about a subject you a ton about and see how badly they butcher explaining it. Then apply that to anything that isn't a Kardashian story and it will make sense.
