Fuck around and find out (Israel / Palestine version)

It is a new world. It's been more like swatting insects and vermin by the hand of God than actual warfare. Look at Gaza and Ukraine and see what is required to fight and win. :eek:

There’s actually lots of similarities to be drawn between the japs and the Pearl Harbor attack and Hamas and the attack on Israel.


Both were “surprise” attacks.

Both are about influence in the area.

Both are supported by outside nations and influenced by previous and current wars.

Both are fueled by religious extremes.

Both ended up fucking around and finding out.

Hamas should be self explanatory. Japan at the time the standard religion placed the emperor as god or gods ambassador on earth, kind of similar to the Egyptian pharaohs. Lots of people were willing to die for Hirohito just because he of “who he was” or on his orders even if misrepresented.

Ah, I gotcha. The dedication of the people to the emperor, while insanely loyal, does not quite become a religion.
I thought you were gonna say something about Buddhism vs Christianity or something. Never mind.
 
The coup is either fake or there must be a media blackout on it. I got a notification about it at 3 am but I haven't seen anything from the MSM about it.

Ben Shapiro thinks Israel will take out Iran's Nuclear facilities soon, Trump does not want any of this shit on his plate when he takes office. That means whatever is left of Hamas is going to get squashed too.

The current admin pressured Israel to NOT hit those facilities (WTF?) so they hit the S300 AA defense systems. Now they can waltz right in and take out whatever they want whenever they want.

I won't be surprised if the various Vlads start pushing very hard in Ukraine to jockey for better position as well.

I'm pretty sure they proved an f35 could waltz passed a s300 even if it was operating already.

Anything could waltz past an s300. There is a guy on youtube that is what he does is air defence. He is constantly ripping on it as one the worst systems ever made.
 
Israel runs a lot of F-15s and F-16s as their bomb trucks. S300 might suck but it was designed with those planes in mind and it shoots fucking telephone poles into the air.

F-35 is stealthy but you are going to be running a lot more sorties and exposing it to a lot more enemy radar with the munitions in the bays.

When our older stealth tech has been defeated it was because we kept going to the same places with the same planes and the people and systems learned. No idea if that is still applicable cause I’m a dumb.

The above is a direct result of Quatar telling Hamas and Hezbollah leadership they are persona non grata come Sunday.

The US does not have the cojones to lean on anyone until the regime change.

Personally. I think the Israelis take the gloves off before the end of the year (yes they have shown restraint). And the ones who end up with bloody noses and no leaders won’t do a damn thing because the rest of the Arab world want to see them taken down and prefer the Jews do the job

Absolute result of the neutered US leadership of the past 3 years and 10 months.

Yep and you use your sexy stealth planes to take out the air defense systems and then your regular old planes that carry lots of bombs to destroy what targets you want.
