I'm surprised that the crank isn't a much brighter color.

or maybe they heated it right past straw golden and into plaid.

It's definitely fubar. Journal is down to 49.3mm from 50mm, probably be sub 49 buy the time it's polished and squared up.

Those measurements mean nothing to anyone in America. I'll translate for them.

Journal is down to 0.05391514yd from 2.69978e-5kn, probably be less than 0.16174542' by the time it's polished and squared up.

I asked my nephew something about his RC car build and he answered me in MM without hesitation.

so the younguns are metric now.

only took 40 years.

Shit, forgot about the metrically impaired :flipoff2:
1.9685" nominal, about 30 thou worn away and will probably lose another 10 thou to clean it up.......

Unfortunately 0.030" is the maximum undersize. So looking like a new crank

Use two bearings you underachiever. :flipoff2:

In reference to the Black State Fair, what exactly is the "Spoken Word"? Religious? Cultural?

Wikipedia knowledge

Spoken word is a poetic performance art that is word-based. It is an oral art that focuses on the aesthetics of word play such as intonation and voice inflection. It is a "catchall" term that includes any kind of poetry recited aloud, including poetry readings, poetry slams, jazz poetry, and hip hop, and can include comedy routines and prose monologues.[SUP][1][/SUP] Although spoken word can include any kind of poetry read aloud, it is different from written poetry in that how it sounds is often one of the main components. Unlike written poetry, it has less to do with physical, on the page aesthetics and more to do with phonaesthetics, or the aesthetics of sound.

got those clutch weights a little aggressive.

Nope, track spinning on the ground while carbides stuck in the ramp and then *traction*. Might have been prevented with a ramp that had a ladder on the ground.

I think those sleddeck things are goofy though, see them all the time in half tons.

I would of liked to see this one first hand. It was posted on an Industrial Maintenance group I'm on.

Reminds me of when I was pushing a small piece of 1" plate through my Portaband / swag table and the Lennox blade snapped and slapped me in the face. I was wearing safety glasses at the time so no damage but now I use it like my HF press: with my arms way out and ready to run.

Forgot I took these pics a few weeks ago.

Story is a preacher and some buddies were on my side of the mountains with a little boat behind his 2012 1500 dodge truck. Driving on a flat stretch it went bang grind grind stop. Through word of mouth my brother ended up getting the job of replacing it and I happened to stop by as the year down started.

3 broken rods, 2 of which completely exited the crank. Lots of missing pieces that went out the ventilated block. :lmao:

Maintenance was tasked to relocate a door on one of the office cubicles here.. Apparently no one asked specifically for them to relocate the light fixture as well :homer:
