Buggy weights, what ya'll got?

I guessed 4k or less on the first page, I was pretty close. 3rz/W56/ultimate duals, 40s, tons, coilovers and air bumps, full 15gallon cell, .120 thick panels and steel hood grill all covered in Killmat.

Honestly one of my favorite looking buggies out there!
As others have said, build thread please:smokin:

No one I wheel or comp with is anything but close to 60/40. Maybe 58/42. Even the rear-engine single seaters. I know Kalif personally like to run without water and less front bias, but he's his own game ;)
Front 1743
Rear 1358
56/44 bias.
Total 3101

Turbo propane 22r, w56, duals, 8" Diamond housings, 37's no water.

Adam is the drivetrain that much heavier on the second buggy? Both seem pretty close at a glance but that's a HUGE difference!

Zuk stuff is crazy light. Atlas is heavier than D300, bigger outters, heavier tires.

But I'd bet the big difference is the water

Like others have said, the components are all heavier. The water makes up a big portion of that weight too.

JHF trail chassis and portal axles. 3.9 / 700R4 / Dana 300 was 3400 lbs with dry tires on a truck scale so +/-20 lbs. Have since added a little more tools/gear, swapped to a Midnight Metalworks 300 housings, and plus water. Need to go weigh again but have swapped back to winter tires now.

My buddy’s portal eco boost car came in 3200 without water from what I was told they filled the fronts up to make it 60/40.

( got a little more info on this eco boost buggy…. It’s 3400 with water )

I’ll get my buggy weight in a few days once the household gets over the Rona and I can go grab some race car scales hopping for 3600 but I’m sure it’s more

The angle of that picture makes it look like a miniature buggy with that Jeep next to it
Lol, I never noticed that before. One of these days maybe I'll take a proper pic of it by itself. That one is so old that the jeep has been on tons and 43's for 2 years now.

Holy crap I remember riding in that thing with you and Ylee up at the ranch a looooong time ago. I was just a little towhead ass kid at the time. Small world :smokin: I forget how that whole thing came about but I remember my cousins Sean and Joe Don were showing me and their kids all the buggies and I got lucky enough to ride in yours for awhile
