I always thought this was one of the nicer looking 4seaters.

My (currently) half build FULLSIZE rig, based some napkin math will be 6200 WITHOUT tires or cage

2003 Chevy 2500, Extended cab regular box with full body, Stock drive gear with Iron Lq4, Chevy leafs out back and Ford 66s in the front, 404 Mog Portal axles

She won't see even close to the same wheeling as any of these Buggies, Its just a lil beater rig

Hope that makes all you V8 buggy owners feel a bit better about being 800 pounds heavier then something with half the cylinders :flipoff2::lmao:

Makes me feel better about mine and some of the weights other people throw around.

Now I'm like... howww ?
Ole wagon is a thick girl!

Same about the racecar. Me and dad was discussing last night and it's easy to see once you get into it. We got to cut some weight though if we are going to make it for 2024. We have discussed fab rear axle if necessary. Will probably get with Cutler and have some chromoly upper links made. Should be able to shed at least 25lbs that way if not more.

Yellow S10 right at 6000 with not tools. 6.0/4l80/205/magnum.
Bomber is 3500 as pictured. Ls3/4l80/atlas.

How is this possible ?
Randy's 4800 is heavier than this and doesn't have bypasses, 40s nor a blower and all the creatures comfort this car has.

Clarity on fuel load, tools/spare, or a butt in the driver’s seat are typically my questions when I hear weights get tossed around.

I can shave 750 lbs off quickly by scaling without those things.

150 lbs of fuel
200 lbs in the driver’s seat
400 lbs of spare, recovery gear, tools and cooler

So you're winging the weights. Gotcha.

No offense but we're looking for real data here. Please post pics on the scale :)

If your not weighing the buggy dry then it needs to be noted. Example being my wagon was 5100 on scales. Minus 270 lbs me, minus 61 lbs half tank of gas, minus cooler and the one tool bag that was in it 50ish lbs... puts it in the low 47xx lb range.
