2bbs 2021 bronco build

What did 74 Weld say about the stripped out hole?

You tried to torque them to 105?

Yep, thats what the instructions say

Hmm I think we only torque the toyota ones to 65 after letting the loctite sit up for a while

The instructions say to loctite a bunch of specific stuff but not those

Hmmm....

Well if I bring it down there tomorrow can you guys make it right and ill pick up the rest of my parts?

For sure, we will see you then.

So another $300 infuel and 14hrs round trip.

I didnt want to ship a $5k chunk and wanted 74 weld to be involved in the fixin in case I have future problems. Im also super antsy to get this done and it seemed like the fastest way.

I sorta bought into this buy agreeing to be on the short list for a trial set.

If you take the 405 up through LA, stop by and I’ll buy you a beer.

I’m open tomorrow. 405 and Inglewood. Saw the other thread after I saw this one. #fail
The last few times I've rolled through that way from SD it has actually been faster to go 73 to 405 and back to 5 rather than. Just stay i5 all the way.

And the glamor shot

How tall is that bucket?

What size bolt/stud?

Same size

I thought buckets were pretty appropriate for scale, next time ill just use a bannana
Curious about your head on the used set. Coming to Houston soon? I can put food and drink in you in a romantic manner!

I also have my crawler hauler out of my drive way incase you need to fit a big trailer somwhere.

I think im missing a refernece

Lead? They are a good friends. The was first day order with me. He told me I could have them for $650 plus a random set of 6 lug rims and id have to swap tires over. He is keeping a stock set of tires for when he brings it into the dealer.

I assume if he even wanted to it would probably cost $1000 for him to deal with it and just sell them outright.

Edit: bet he would trade for a set of skid plates, blems or whatever

74weld jut put a heli coil in and chalked it up to a fluke. They torqued another set there to 125 just to see and nothing bad happened.

Also grabbed the rest of my parts so if I have tommorow off I should get this turd 95%

What else did you pick up from them? I figured the rack and portals were everything.

It is an optional wheel on top of that, the standard Badlands wheels are not beadlock capable, but are the same dimensions and backspacing. These got to be rare as hen's teeth and undesirable for anyone not running portals on their Bronco.

My father could only run 11.50" wide 35"s since the non-sasquatch badland wheels have so much backspacing that wider tires will rub on the upper A-arms.
Ford did a terrible job marketing them as an option as well. If you weren't paying attention to the early pre release info, nothing anywhere stated they were beadlock capable for only a $1k factory option. Made the sasquatch package utterly worthless on Badlands, IMHO.

Glad they got you fixed up :smokin:

Still think they should insert them when they make them. Alleviates the flukes
