Going wheeling in 2weeks, interested to see how it works.

I made assumption, Mine has done well as a PS cooler.
I have a shit show going on with my steering so I'm a weird case lol, it actually cooled the fluid, just not enough for me. I think it was a 5* drop from one end to the other. Would burn your hand if you touched it, so good I guess

That's something I don't have a temp gauge on, it's a basic trailgear kit and usually it runs cool enough to touch and not boil over when crawling so I don't think about it.
I guess if I had trouble I'd be dealing with it:homer:

Same with the temp guage, it was shooting one end of it with a IR temp gauge and comparing it to the outlet hose, very scientific:laughing:

I run one of those derale flat coolers for my trans and one for the steering, no issues so far with an auto trans

Went wheeling at good evening ranch in WV with CLRracer and some people from nc4x4 this weekend. The steering cools so much better than before!!:smokin: I ripped the rear bumper off again, roached a sidewall, one of my rear hubs decided to start leaking gear lube all over on the drive down, and killed an airbump. Other than that a drama free weekend of much needed hard wheeling!

This guy is supposedly leading we rock west and is in 2nd in the east or something, I wasn't really paying attention. Cool buggy and funny watching him get denied on stuff.

Well the new front shaft didn't last long, I knew I should have either shipped these off to Jes or built a square one.:mad3:

Figure out the hydro assist location yet?

No, I go back and forth on what I'm going to do to the front end over the winter. I did pick up a cheap already tapped IFS box and have been eyeing up radial dynamics new pump and a res.

New bumper was installed this weekend, hopefully this one doesnt get ripped off.

I also decided to reverse the dumbest mod I ever did to this truck, drunkenly hack holes in the bed because the Internet said 12" shocks don't fit unless you poke them through the bed. Well they do and you don't have to!

So if you are expecting to see panels bent up on a metal brake and TIG welded in, you are in the wrong build thread. Love's is now a parts supplier to this build!!

They were out of fat girl and Yosemite Sam flaps so that had to do. A few cuts with the grinder and 6 or 10ish self tappers later, no more straps and shit falling out of my bed all over the SE!

Words cannot express how excited I am, holy fuck I hated that I cut those holes in the bed so annoying!!

This truck has been parked in the garage since my last wheeling trip at the end of August, finally it should be out. I fixed my leaking hubs and decided to upgrade to 7/16 12pt ARP bolts. PITA due to various reasons but it's done! I also got to install my rear air bumps finally, all I have to do is charge them and I'll be good to go!

Now all I need to do is drive it for a bit to see if I fixed my hub leak and build a front square shaft and I'll be good to go for a hawk pride wheeling trip at the end of the month!
