I'll do "tacks" on thin material but it's more like pulse welding than actual tacks.That's the ever famous string of tacks. When someone who can't run a bead wants the stack of dimes look.
It's a terrible thing to do because there wont be any penetration. It's all cold.
welder machine makes a difference also. For sheetmetal, I usually skip the 240v machines and dig the 110 buzzbox out of the cabinet that only holds 023 wire and only gets used for sheetmetal.I think I got the hammer forming part down… I think I need 023 wire and a new drive roll
