What did you do for your ford today?

Speaking of paint and body work. Painted my truck today

Paint Sage and Brown.jpg

I'm thinking I like the sage and brown 2 tone without the trim better than the single colors
My kids had two tone diapers like that. JK - keep plugging away

the wife currently thinks it looks like a bruise and I 100% already know she will say my proposed color looks like baby poop :lmao:

Did some zen balancing today. 1 chain, 2 points, calm and level rejoining soul and body

That just might need a wee bit of color sanding. 😂

I don't want to drive that far for one. But I'm afraid I might have to
Normally I wouldn’t but the guy hurt his back and couldn’t get it set up to ship. Losing a whole day and $150 in fuel means it had to be a very good deal or I’d have passed. I’ve been causally looking for almost 2 years. Found a couple of complete trucks but they were clown world prices.

Yeah, I don't really blame you, it's kind of the same here. I've seen one or two trucks pop up that have one but the price isn't great for a truck I'm going to end up parting out. Everyone and their mother has a BB or diesel variant sitting around but no one seems to have a 4wd SBF. Oh well, one day.

Check the bracket that holds the bag in place. They are only tack welded onto the seat frame. My driver side had the weld break. The bag would fill but it was pushing to front and back and you can't feel it.
You nailed it. Yanked the seat today. Got the cover unclipped and the bag/brace fell out. Bag is destroyed from dry rot - not even going to try to fix it.

Was able to pull the cover up just enough to goober-spot the plate back in. Threw a dab of paint on the welds and reinstalled. Good enough for my back - 100x more comfortable.

The '88 is in for yearly maintenance and winter prep. Replaced a couple fuel pumps, needs front shocks, general inspection and chassis lube/undercoating.

Found a new hole in passenger floor board, didn't realize a previous owner had slapped patch on and tarred it over. This kept all the oil undercoating I apply out and it just rotted out hard... Hope to get a few more seasons out of the truck, but should start looking for a rust free clone parts truck. :frown:

Front tank seemed to be causing the high pressure pump to start hating life, which turned into a constant bad noise.

Found a hidden spot that didn't get undercoated, almost rotted through the crossmember.

Exhaust pipe made it one year... Oh the joys of road brine.

78 F150: got all of the parts I need to start the 1-ton swap here once the in-laws leave. Also found that one of the hoses on my Vintage Air AC that I just finished setting up and barely enjoyed for a month is leaking:

67 Bronco: gf ordered the matching rear seat from Toms Offroad, and new door-hinges but those are backordered. Slowly but surely it's becoming a pleasant driver.

Fire away:flipoff2:

Is it posed?
If not, what brand is the lawn tractor… cause it’s clearly over loaded.
Is that ford pushing?
Did the parking brakes fail and end with the entire train in a cluster in the road?

:lmao:totally :flipoff2:
1200 ferd not doing anything
7k dual axle dump body, not on parking brake
Mtd 18 hp yard mule might be in gear???

Hunt my posts for that bitch having defied the snowflake law:flipoff2:
