Weight tickets thread

Use the Weigh My Truck App and you don't have to go inside. Pay and get your weights right on your phone.
Just did that. Thank you.

I have a set of race scales here at the house, but they are only good to 6000lbs total, 1500lbs per. It's nice to know I can get a heavier weight scaled and be back home in 15mins.

My little panels average 660 pounds.
Is that second trailer axle an optical illusion?

why weigh the trailer axles separate? they got an equalizer between them

ETA: huh nope looks like torsion axles, so I guess it would be somewhat valid to scale them one at a time

* bearing failure leaves you no options but abandoning the trailer to run home to get a single ended temporary axle tossed together to get limped home *

nothing personnel, kid
Bearing failures are basically nonexistent if you're not ******ed.

If you'd have screeched about the stability implications of losing a tire at speed while at the ragged edge of what a tow rig can handle you'd have a point.

eh, dying isn't a huge concern
when it happens your suffering is over

34k lbs hauled by a semi….yawn.
34k lbs hauled by a 1 ton pickup, cool.
34k lbs hauled by a ford ranger, we need a video.
It was the one most likely to have a 5000 pound front axle weight but that probably shouldn’t have a 10k rear axle weight. I’ll see if I can get a picture today.

Sterlings and D70+ will do 10k all day.

SRW 14B and D60 are the only axles you can get in a 1-ton anything that are sus at those kinds of weights.

So either it's a Chebby truck or you pulled a Pablo and grossed 34k behind an E-van.

Could really go either way considering who's involved.

Depends on how many tires are on those axles.
