War Pig Version 12

I wonder if there are different mounts?

The 80's called... and I am seriously going to run it.

Just in parts collection phase, with most of the rear end stuff here, which means I will be doing a 4" K30 Shackle flip on the 2.5" wide P30 springs, to set up the rear end. I was going to use the F350 rears I have, but the P30 rears will handle more weight and it has a bitchen sway bar on it.

Oh the light bar and the bed are just sitting there.

Building a fuel tank to go between the rails, right at 42g with an in-tank lift pump at 165gph and 10psi.

I’m running a 40 gallon Suburban tank on my International, between the frame rails, behind the rear axle. I used the Suburban crossmembers and straps to mount it.
I’m using the stock IH frame, though.

I am pondering that: I have one of those loaded in my eBay shopping cart. Straps and all Just need to swap out the gas sending unit for one that will handle a BIG Diesel lift pump.

The tank in my pickup was from a diesel, I don’t know if it’s different from a gas truck of the same vintage. It doesn’t have an in-tank pump, just a 3/8” pickup tube. It would be easy to upgrade

Right. It's the lift pump and building the sending unit I am pondering.

I don't need one, since I have a CP3, but I want one.

Ordered 2 new (to me) front fenders, 2 front doors, 2 rear doors and 2 rear fenders.

Will convert the dually front to SRW.

Started mocking up the front end... at the end of the day, I think this needs at least 37's. Front axle will move back 3" to center in the wheel well.

So I am fighting my thoughts on the radius arms. I've looked at all the pics, and I think at ride height I want, I'd have sufficient up travel before the arms hit the frame... but the fix my head needs, is to lift it more and run bigger tires.
Rough times. :flipoff2:

Thinking mil spec 42's on 20 inch rims.

Like a 12.00R20 Goodyear G272 - they're not really that tall.

Setting in the engine cradle while we design out the Radius arm mounts. As I said, I think they need to be lower than the 2" the WFO kit provided. I know I have the frame clearance, but designed a 3.5" drop mount that will be made of 3x5" 3/16" wall box and laser cut. Will also be tied into the frame web and flange.

Also centered the front wheel where I want it.

And yes, a 550hp Duramax, Allison 6 speed and 4.33's should handle 40" tires pretty well.

The 35's are just rollers.

Truck looks great man! Height wise I would maybe try the new tire before going up anymore. I thought the 12.00R20's were even taller at 44" and the 11.00R20 G177's I had were around the 42" mark? I could be remembering wrong though its been years and they were only on truck for a month before I found the 16.00R20's.

12R is more like 42". I have a set here, just need 20" rims for 8 on 170MM.

I am also pondering a 4 link with the factory D60 mounts and the arms I have.

Thoughts?

For the front, with the radius arms? Would seem unnecessary to me, vs just putting a panhard in.

Radius arms need a pan hard. I'd probably do four paralleled links with one, too.
