TRUMP INDICTMENT

I don't know if this is good or bad for RNC? Several ways to look at it. They already paid out $2 mil. But then of course if he wins then they pick right back up. Regardless with the D's vs the R's on lawsuits, the political legal system sure don't sound fair...

Or is it possible the tables will turn come Mid-term November regardless of who wins in 2024?

Better to wait. No real advantage to him doing it now. Trump is a lightning rod. Depending on how it goes the RNC may need that after the 22 mids.

Heck most Dems won't comment on Biden running in 24 right now either. Which is smart too.

They figure he'll be incapacitated and removed before then, or step down willingly because he has a terminal illness, or he will die of monekypox and resign somewhat unwillingly. No point risking their career for a problem that likely will solve itself.

There have been lots of articles in all (both sides) of the media about the DNC throwing Biden under the bus for 2024.

The vast majority of D's don't support him. 70%+ now don't want him to run again, or don't even want him now.

So yes, they hope he steps down/dies/whatever, then they can blame him for everything that went wrong, and offer a fresh new alternative. Which might be Hillary, which is in no way fresh or now. Otherwise they will have to prevent him from running, but that's messy, given he still seems to think everyone loves him and it's going swimmingly.

That said, neither of the major US parties makes a lot of sense at the end of the day. Maybe they'll double down on running him again and see just how badly they can lose. :lmao:

I agree that if the Ds let Biden run he'll be the "sacrificial candidate". Even fewer Ds want Cameltoe than Biden, so right now I see no viable D candidate.

Mayor Pete will join the card with newsom.

some people have called pete “smarter and better than we deserve.”

Viable nationally ? I hardly think so.
Well he was leading in the primaries until they railroaded him out in South Carolina when they finally realized Joe wasn't getting any votes. They made a deal with him and the bitch from Minnesota to get out this time.

Large difference between primaries and general election.

If they hadn't made a deal with those two Joe wouldn't be president. People liked those two. Pete was a likeable guy from the midwest, Klobuchar appealed to the bitchy Subaru-driving lefties. Nobody wanted Joe the first time around and they still don't want him now. Nothing really changed.

WAS a likable guy. He pretty much lost any good will he had when he told people to buy electric cars if they didn't like high gas prices.

Screw that guy.

Like i said earlier... viable is what they define it to be. the DNC (and RNC) wanted Biden, so they made sure to get him.

somewhere john boehner and paul ryan are chuckling.

I pray that Trump is our next President. That mother fucker will go full scorched earth on the deep state. Some good might even come out of it.

Knowing he is one term and out......... seriously burn it all down on day one, and mic drop, fingers in the air last day out.
pull all the stops and pull the curtain back, expose it all.

If this second round of clown show doesn’t get conservatives off the porch, then I’m convinced nothing will.
