The appeal for welded to me is the availability and cost of a replacement should I explode it. I tend to be rough on the buggy, so it keeps it economical, as well as allows me to replace things quickly on the fly without ordering parts.
 
For me a friend had one on a shelf so it made that a pretty simple solution for me. And had a shitty welder at the time.

I am pulling my 1993 drive train soon. 1FZFE. Engine has approx 250K. Runs very strong, does not leak oil. I occasionally get a puff of blue smoke on startup. The engine does not have a power steering pump, I removed and made a block off plate, to run full hydro. A442 Trans shifts well but could probably use new shift solenoids. Transfer case has Trail gear 3.0 under drive gears installed. The package is in my buggy and I am doing a 2UZ swap this winter. The engine will come with harness and ECU. I would like to sell the entire package but would be willing to separate. I don't think I can ship, so local pick up or I will deliver within 200 miles for fuel. I am open to offers. Currently plan is to leave engine in truck until December so if anyone has interest they can hear it run and drive. Located in Chelmsford, MA 01824.

I've also seen people bend spools. No idea if it's certain brands, but having held a Toyota spool in my hand, they don't build enough beef into them for their size. Welded > spool for Toyota imo.

WTB E-locker spur gear. I got a used e-locker and a Chilkat manual shifter on the way, but I never had the e-actuator so I don't have the spur gear needed to mate them together.
 
Need a slip yoke, did this to mine yesterday. Did a weekend saver fix but still need a replacement

OME Dakar springs - 1st Gen Tacoma.

CSO - model, which I believe is 1st Generation of the Dakar springs for Tacomas. Replaced with a new set thinking one of these was bad. I was wrong... I had a frozen shackle. :shaking: New springs provided exact same lift as this set... Springs have only been in AZ and TN... so clean up well.


New bushings. Have slider bushings available as well. $250 to IBB.
