I put Ender 3 on mine. You can also adjust the bed size later I believegodod am. so i have ender 3 v3 ke, amazon sale 229. and in cura there is no profile. so looking up how to create a profile it is alot of stuff in there i could fuck up.
does anyone have a profile or is it pretty easy
yeshas anyone used creality slicer?
I’m a diehard PrusaSlicer fan, but Orca is just better all around. Way more perimeters to fiddle with in Orca and once you use it’s built-in printer tuning I just get better prints.or orca?
I found that file on the anycubic app on my phone. The app features the absolute worst search function on the internet. I'm not kidding, it sucks. IDamn that's a great idea. Can't believe I didn't think of that. Any particular files you like?
Thingiverse gives anything a pretty good run for the "worst search engine ever" awardI found that file on the anycubic app on my phone. The app features the absolute worst search function on the internet. I'm not kidding, it sucks. I
just scrolled through a bunch of shit until I found one.
I think they are all designed off the Amazon search engine, which can't return a decent search to save someone's life...Thingiverse gives anything a pretty good run for the "worst search engine ever" award
Skip the X1C, go for the P1S. Does the same thing, works damn near flawlessly. Add the AMS later if you care to.
Alright, looks like I'm about 4 years behind the curve here, but that's par for the course. Want to get the 10 year old a 3d printer for christmas. He's interested in them, and I view it as a great opportunity to jump start his creative side. I just spend 3 days off and on reading this thread. Don't want to spend a ton on this, one color is probably fine. He needs something that he doesn't have to tinker with much, just something that prints and flat works. Mild autism, and the programming software will be enough for him to learn in the beginning. Thinking about snagging a black friday Bambu single color A1 with a couple spools of filament. Anything else he'll need to get rolling with a couple projects?
The downside to all of this, is now I really want a X1C. Wonder if I could make enough plastic stuff to sell to make it into a side biz of sorts. Been looking hard at CNC routers for a bit, but the entry price on a 3D printer is a lot more palatable...
Buy the P1S and don’t look back, it’s truly plug and play! You can add the AMS later.Skip the X1C, go for the P1S. Does the same thing, works damn near flawlessly. Add the AMS later if you care to.
Both the A1 and A1 Mini get very positive reviews. That might be a good entry machine for the kiddo, but if you are thinking about jumping in too, I'd stay with the P1S and you can both use it.How's the A1 for the kiddo?
