What's new

Spinoff: Newest vehicle you own and approx annual commuting mileage

Newest is a 2010 Ford Fusion. At 178k. Commute approximately 80ish miles daily round trip, roughly 19k yearly.

She drives about 16 miles round trip daily. 98' Wrangler. Roughly 180k on it.

For years I had a company pickup. Man I miss that perk. I racked up some miles in those trucks

Wife’s DD is a ‘16 ford edge. It has 111k on it, her work commute is about 12k/yr.

My DD is a company vehicle that gets 25-30k/yr.

My personal is an ‘09 suburban that gets about 5k/yr. It has 107k miles.

Newest: 24 VW Jetta, a 6 speed toaster I bought this spring to commute and keep miles off the rigs I want to keep for decades. Likely up to 20k miles a year now.

Last year's commuter: 1984 GMC SWB 2wd 6.2 diesel/NV4500. 12k miles May thru December last year commuting and road tripping. Currently 160k or 260k on it. Only non-scheduled wrenching was two wheel seals (same side) and a weeping thermostat housing gasket.

2017 Tundra TRD 142000
bought it in 19 with 32k on it put 36k on it commuting the first year and now about 10k/year

My dd is a 2010 GX, 112k on it, 12-15k a year.

My wife’s 2013 outback just rolled over 200k a couple weeks ago, she’s more like 25k a year.

DD is a 2017 Civic, currently has 150k in it. Only gets about 15k a year now that my round trip commute is only 45 miles.

My DD is a 2000 TRD taco with 220k. I do maybe 5k a year cause I WFH. A lot of that is hauling 200 gallons of water up the mountain.

Wife has a 2000 lx470 with 360k. She probably puts around 15k a year.

Both of these trucks are extremely reliable considering the terrain they drive. DED

2001 accord in the most unreliable configuration V6 auto with 280k. my commute is about 25 steps. I bought it when I was doing 600 mi weekly runs.

Need to order a timing belt kit for it.

2013 Lezburu Impreza Wagon.

Commute to work 2.2 miles.

2002 GMC CCLB 2WD was my previous daily. Now it’s hooked to the boat for after work trips.

1996 Ram 2500, 273k miles. Maybe 3k a year

1994 Ram Cummins, 333k miles. 5k miles per year, usually one or two road trips.

1984 cj8, 1990 suburban, 1970 M35A2c, maybe 2k miles combined

2000 F250, V10, 4x4. 9.5 miles to work, 230K
1995 Lexus SC400, 115K
1988 Mustang LX notch, work in progress, mileage unknown. Every, and I mean every bolt will be touched before I am finished

Wife's ride is a '17 Accord Touring edition with 11K miles. Not a misprint. Found it in Colorado with less than 7K miles earlier this year. She does about 35 miles round-trip

Newest is the wife’s 2017 Pacifica, also her daily. Usually 6-8,000 miles a year.

My daily is a 2014 Hyundai Sonata, around 15,000 miles a year.

I did have my ‘86 F250 as a daily for a few years, but that was when my round trip commute was 1.5 miles. Doing about 90 miles a day now, the 8-10 mpg doesn’t work so well at $3.50 a gallon. It gets relegated to hunting, fishing, and dump runs now.

Gonna need pics of these

Edit

And blakes High mileage rode hard toyotas too:laughing:

Sorry, only 359359 miles on the lx470. Didn't bother to take pics of the taco odometer.
