Something of that nature appears to be why they wanted to know about the truck, see her ID, and as shown they asked her if she "was ok" before entering the dwelling.

Them being inquisitive and them being let in, got her killed. Of course them being dickbags also, got her killed.

I remember the Kelly Thomas case. If memory serves his dad was a deputy sheriff at one point.

From the wikipedia article: "Now you see my fists?" officer Manuel Ramos asked Thomas while slipping on a pair of latex gloves. "Yeah, what about them?" Thomas responded. "They are getting ready to fuck you up,"

Even though Thomas replied "Go ahead", what they did has no excuse.

It's not that they can't act like that. It's that they didn't want to. That wasn't the kind of interaction they were going for. This wasn't some traffic stop where "sir I'm going to need to ask you to pull up to that spot up there because this spot is dangerous" would be SOP if they felt unsafe. This was them going in with intent to make an arrest and/or use violence and they were looking to create any possible pretext to do so. That's why they ordered her to go fuck with it in the first place.

Same playbook they were trying (less successfully) to use in that video where the cop has some black driver at gun point and is clearly fishing to get the guy to "reach" by asking him to get his registration and the guy just keeps his hands in the air until some other cop shows up and opens the glove box and gets it because he knows there's a fair chance he'll get shot if he moves .

Going to have to look that one up. Tony Timpa is another that comes to mind. Called the cops asking for help because he was coked out of mind and I believe also had some mental issues. They kneeled on his back for 14 minutes or so and cracked jokes "Time to to get up for school, Timmy", etc. when he wouldn't wake up.

I had read he was charged 3 counts of homicide...not sure how that works, so maybe the story wasn't correct.

And her daughter said she supposedly had schizophrenia.

Well that is concerning. They proved a long time ago they don't deserve the respect or consideration they demand. They would do the same to you as they did to her in a heartbeat and it wouldn't matter if you were the best buddies on earth.

Whether you like it or not you had that coming and will continue to hear me point it out. Im not the stupid fucker who stuck his head into thirty pages of evidence cops suck and continuously abuse their authority and said he didn't look at any of it but all cops are fantastic. And unlike Floyd, they laughed after they found out he wasn't breathing when he was loaded into the ambulance.
 
I don’t know which video is posted, but the donut’s raw police footage has a longer video than the police activity video. It shows the other officer’s cam for longer. I think he will not get in trouble. First off, he didn’t shoot, and he grabbed towels and tried to help. The guy that shot, he stopped the other guy from getting his med kit, and took his sweet ass time getting back in there, and just threw the bag on the ground while his partner holds her brain in.

Yeah youll forgive for thinking that doesn't make him any less of a pos. You think this was the first time his partner has acted that way towards someone but without the messy ending? I don't think so. And I'm betting he has never said shit because his thin blue line

Could go either way. Management might have assigned their "best" guy to him in a vain attempt to keep exactly this sort of shit from happening before they could shit can him for another reason.
