SLOWPOKE goes wheeling in a golfcart!

When you need to recharge the shocks I think most live valve people are running around 140psi,
I started at 200 on my standard shocks, it was harsh so I am at 180 now.
wvracer821 what pressure did you end up at?

Thanks for the info!! I would have charged them to 200psi like I do with my Talon Fox shocks.

This place Dedicated Motorsports makes some cool products for the KRX and their prices are decent. Texas made too :smokin:

The bolt in shoulder harness bar for $75 might do the trick for a few rides until I get around to building the cage. I have 2 PRP harnesses out of my Talon that I can throw in this as well and would make me feel better than wearing the stock 3pt deals it comes with.

I like their shifter gate and the billet hawse fairlead/ tow point combo too and will probably order that stuff in the future.

Edit: Why pay for shipping twice? Order once and cry once. :lmao:

I really like that fairlead tow point combo too.

How tall are you? If you end up with the seat all the way back the flat steering wheel was uncomfortable for me. Kept my arms really extended. I did the adapter hub and a NRG dished wheel. 1000 times more comfortable for me. I didnt mention it before because everyones seating position is different.

That dms adapter hub is a good price.

Again just a FYI. You may love the flat wheel.

I'm 6'1 and my legs are the shorter part of me so I doubt I'll have the seat pinned all the way back.

I have an MPI 6 bolt steering wheel and Sweet QR that I took out of the Talon that I can toss in the KRX if I can find a splined stub that fits the column without having to buy the whole setup. I'll just have to take those pesky shifter buttons off.

Yall like that two bolt in tension tow hook?

That scares me...

You are really gonnna mis those buttons

I see it being fine for straight pulls but I wouldn't go using it at an upward or downward angle of more that a few degrees knowing it will snap off the frame.

Both pieces are aluminum and could be tig welded together easy enough too.

Shiiiiit just keep this one rolling on.

Those es def have the best color combo.

Go get it a couple of heat cycles in the belt. :grinpimp:

Just cruised around the neighborhood with the wife and put 15 miles on it. It's pretty sweet and feels solid, I like it. The fit and finish is very good too. The live valve seems to do what it's supposed to and I can feel the difference between the 3 settings. I didn't realize these were internal bypass shocks when I looked at it on the showroom floor so that's an added bonus.:smokin: The Talon Fox LV shocks are not ibp's and I figured they were the same but they are not even close to the same.

Damn thing was missing the RF center cap and I didn't notice it until I unloaded it at my house so I'll have to call the dealer Monday morning and see if they can ship one to me but other than that it's all good.

I might take it to Barnwell Mtn tomorrow and cruise around the offroad park with the wife. :smokin:

Looks great!

Swap the frogskins between sides to protect them somewhat.

Wife and I took it for 15 mile cruise right before sunset with no issue. Water temp stayed at 185° and the belt temp stayed at 1 bar. I drove it down some pothole filled dirt roads at 40mph with the suspension set to soft and it rode like a Cadillac. It's definitely a noisy fucker but when you are turning 6k RPM at 40mph I guess that's to be expected. God damn belts....

Spotted a group of deer crossing the road in our travels so I stopped and grabbed a few pictures before they went into the tree line. :smokin:

Tomorrow we are going to bring it to Barnwell Mountain offroad park for a few hours and get it dirty doing some mild wheeling.

Put 30 miles on the KRX at Barnwell Mtn today and I'm very impressed with this thing especially being bone stock. I started off cruising around doing easy stuff and feeling it out and by mid day we were running medium and hard trails without much issue. I climbed shit I had no business trying in a stock SxS and it went with ease and we only turned around on one trail we tried because the ledges were huge on an already stupidly steep loose climb and with a stock cage and belts it wasn't worth it to try.

I got no good pictures or videos and only a couple of poser shots early on running the easy trails....

I need to order a skid plate ASAP. I landed on and dragged the frame over rocks more than once today.
We told ya to order those :laughing::flipoff2:

Glad you are liking it so far. They are excellent trail machines and shockingly capable even in stock trim.
They belly out on sharp break over ledges and creek banks. Just the normal function of WB versus tire size. Most of the time you can hit it with some speed and slide it up, thats something im still getting used to instead of just crawling stuff.

Whips are so out of date. The raging fucksticks now go to goddamn sky lightsabers.

These are the same POS’s that have their full-surround toy hauler LED lights on all night. Because everyone wants to have their space invaded by not only loud bro country and mariachi music, but also your fucking laser light display bragging that you had access to $50 and a Tractor Supply.
damn. I either been under the rock or not going out enough.
