At the time of my other seal install I wasn’t aware of the amount of axle shaft deflection out at the end of the housing tubes with 50* steering. I’m sure that was the reason for my poor seal performance before.
Added a bit of misalignment to my knuckle side tie rod bolts.
i like your no cost solution, i usually just run these since theyre so cheap

cap screw ftmfw!
Wouldn't that possibly let the body of the hiem pop off if it failed? Where a regular bolt will still kinda hold it?
At this point that hi steer kit seems like a waste of money. Why didn't you build all of it yourself?

Is this comment in regards to the front axle?
Ya, they are PSC.Looking good. I love your attention to detail on everything. Are the black clevis ends on the ram PSC? I've never seen any of those that allowed for a misalignment spacer like yours have. I also haven't bought any in a long time. Might we standard now with demands of 50* steering.
Just the weld on knuckle kit. I'm guessing it saved enough time to be worth it.
Sweet thread!
I guess you missed where those were done years ago with a single ended cyl and he just modified them to use the double ended?
