Show us your Tow Rig!

2018 F-350 Dually. Upgraded from a 2011 F-350 SRW. Less bro, but more capable.

It tows my 43' Toy Hauler really well - I love the exhaust brake and the 48 gallon tank. My regular trailer with the GPW is like it's not even there.

First they freaked out because they said I was a commercial vehicle and then they figured out what RV stood for and then the fact that I was 67 feet long they said I couldn’t make the switch backs long story short they wound up escorting me part of the way
I think the biggest reason personally was the fact that the The redheaded female ranger with really short hair was showing off for the long-haired young female intern and we will let it go at that.......
she quickly found out that I was not gonna be Buffalo by her
there were zero signs that said anything about length or weight or trailer combinations of an RV I called the day before and some lady at the Rocky Mountain national Park told me as long as my RV would run at 10,000 feet properly I was “okey-dokey” not many people use that term anymore LOL
Needless to say it was an interesting adventure

I live not far from the park so I have been there a lot. You are correct there are no restrictions on that road. There are a few in the park that due have restrictions but they are well marked.

2001 Yukon XL 2500 4x4 with the 8.1
It has 104k on it. I bought it last fall and have put 3k miles on it towing my 23' enclosed trailer with either our sxs or snowmobiles in it. I love this thing. It's extremely comfortable and the 8.1 is a brute.

Company rig but I drive it, 2013 T-800, 550 Cummins 18spd, Neway air ride, full lockers. Factory rebuilt ‘89 COZAD 8-10 expandable 44 ton.

Who you work for? I grew up in Humboldt County and still visit my mom down there but don't recognize the color on the truck.

My 05 lly Allison Chevy, 18' tilt deck, I added the winch, headache bar, tie downs, steel deck, etc

great truck, low miles, stays hooked to the trailer

just bought the international, if I can make a tidy profit, I'll sell it, otherwise I'll sit on it for a bit, I have a feeling scrap steel will be sky high soon and I'll go back to scrapping cars

2007 international 4300, I think 225 hp 830 torque w/Allison actually drives/rides pretty nice with air suspension seats. Travel trailer is approximately 8800#

Interesting;
How's your generator mounted; hitch receiver?

nOOB questions:
You drive with it there/mounted?

No airflow issues?

I like that set up.

Sorry for delay....
Yes the genny is mounted with a 2" receiver. This is 3rd bumper is has been used on. Built a cradle to hold gen with security/lock system. Honda 3000EU is heavy but I can handle it ok.

Yes it can be used while driving. I hard wired 120V/30A, twist lock pig tail at bumper and junction box under bed with standard RV plug.

No airflow issues in hot a fuck AZ.

tow rigs.. well, two international 4300s, one 4400, one dakota, one f250, one f350.

I have wondered about the people pulling travel trailers and 5th wheels with MDT and Class 8 tractors. Do the campers stand up to being pulled by something sprung so heavy? Wondered if the harsher ride of the MDT especially non air ride chassis would shake the stick frame campers apart long term.
