What's new

Russia / Ukraine thread

That philosophy sounds nice but has proven to lead to being dominated by radical leftys that are more than willing to take political power you willingly give up by looking the other way and use against you.

A lot of this shit we are seeing now like the sexualization of kids, transing kids, states siezing parental rights, compelled speech, ect……is a direct offshoot of transgender ideology. That shit effects the hell out of me.
Exactly....we allowed the closet door to be cracked open and see where that has let.

Children, young adults whos brains haven't been fully formed, and the docs whos hands are no longer tied by some woke bitch ass agenda.

We used to take the hippocratic oath at least somewhat a little serious.

So, in the name of freedom, I suppose you wouldn't mind a group of dudes hanging out around your property line with the peckers out, in full view of your kids...

Freedom is not anarchy.

I said I wouldn't support any legislation requiring doctors to perform it.

You ever worked with mentally ill people?

Is it your contention that schizophrenia doesn't exist and its just people not fitting within societal norms?

Lol

That's not at all what I said. True mental illness certainly exists.

There were people that screamed that this was going to be the result of gay "marriage."

They were called crazy and bigots. I know this, because I was one of them that were calling them crazy and bigots.

Well...stings a little bit being wrong. But wanna talk about freedom? Try admitting to yourself that you were wrong and were duped. Once you get over the sting to the ego, you'll feel the most free you ever have.

Your posts remind me of the famous preachers and politicians who rail fervently against gays, and then get caught blowing a dude and have to resign. Remember, god's up there watching every gay guy go to town on one another. Don't criticize his work.

Why would you want to picture a dude blowing another dude? Obsessed with sex much?

You mind going to homoerotic pictures upon reading information says MUCH more about you than it does me...

Awesome movie.

Honestly, we're not going to find middle ground here so what's the point? You want to dictate to others what they can do, even when those actions have no direct impact on others. I don't. I support individual liberties, it doesn't matter if I agree with the person or not. That's what actual defending liberties is. Everyone defends the liberties they themselves value. The true litmus test is when it's someone else's liberties that you don't necessarily agree with. I'm not interested in a constant change of subject to argue semantics.

I believe in getting people the help they need, not the help that damns them to a 41% suicide rate and a (short) lifetime of anguish and anger.

Obviously, and one of your more ignorant stances, as previously pointed out.
You havent pointed out shit other than you spout simple minded political platitudes that only exist on paper and thats it. Explain how 350 million folks all free to do whatever they want free of consequence leads to a desirable outcome in society or your ultimate experience of freedom?

Lets say everyone woke up tomorrow and were free as a bird to drive however the fuck they pleased. No traffic laws, no insurance, no lanes, no road signs, no traffic lights, no nothing. Just one big bumper cars track free for all. No consequences for shitty driving.

Do you think you could hop in your prius and take a joyride or would it be gridlock and a clusterfuck?

Sure everyone has more freedom on paper but what good is it if you cant use it because of chaos. You have to have an ordered society to enjoy your freedoms and protect your rights.

"Freedom" sure is becoming an interesting concept in America. More and more it's starting to be clear that for a lot of people the definition is "freedom to do the things that I value and the freedom to force my values on everyone else too".

Unless you are advocating for a lawless society you are fine doing that very thing.

Sure thing sport, obviously nuanced positions are difficult for people from Ga.

I think people should be able to make their own decisions about their body and not just be assumed mentally ill because they don't conform to societal norms. I don't think transgenderism or any other alternative lifestyle should be celebrated or encouraged. But I don't think it should be automatically dismissed as mental illness either. Way too many complex issues have been distilled down to binary black or white issues in today's society, largely due to political and social convenience and exploitation IMO.
I agree, freedom. an ADULT can do what they want.

But I think living life as an opposite gender is 90% + have some form, of mental illness / personality disorder, whether it's borderline personality disorder or some other thing in the brain that isn't working right.

And that's OK, but it isn't a healthy, happy mind doing it.

Wrong again there buckaroo, saying you're free from the government saying you can't do something isn't even in the same ballpark of forcing anything on anyone.

if they are paying for it, i don't fucking care. that's the biggest problem, you know they aren't paying for shit.
fun aside, one got angry at me for laughing at those "trans genocide" headlines that were going around a bit back
the only justification they could come up with for the headlines was about being "denied healthcare"

lol dumb **** reduced choice is exactly what everyone told you would result from socialist healthcare billing schemes
any time the collective is footing the bill, the collective has implicit say in what they're paying for

I just don't understand your thought process.

'socialism is a failure, therefore I'm going to argue for socialism'
