Let's hope that people realize that it's their energy policies, not Putin that are responsible for them having to look for firewood. But I'm not holding my breath.

The "nazi problem" in Ukraine is largely overblown. That group is very small and has little support from the majority of the citizens.
They ran for office(s) in an election and got about 2% of the vote. Claiming that Ukraine is a "nazi state" is the same as claiming
the U.S. is because we have neo-nazis and skinheads. The press showed a very small group and made it look important, which it's
not. Makes me :lmao: seeing all the people who ridicule the media as showing "fake news" swallowing this bullshit whole.

But does the official blue check UN twitter account highlight US skinheads? Do members of the US military proudly display their nazi symbols without reprecussion? Those are 2 big differences off the top of my head.

What fucking relevance does this have ? We have had ICBM in hardened sites with MIRV since . . .. . .. forever .. .. aimed at Moscow and Chyna Town. We have a shit load of subs across the globe, in every Ocean with similar.

That's just stupid journalists for you. In the text of the article, it was stated that the sub was in the Arabian Sea. That would put it appx. equal distance from Moscow and Peking.

Thanks Gary. Your'e kinda right . . . .. . :flipoff2: Grammatically and Mathematically, geometrically specifically, , the sub is not between the Put-In and Chy-Nah. It's not like we havent had shit aimed at our lizard enemies for the last 55 years with enough epoxy to glue their ass shut for eternity. Years ago at the other place a Pirate who seemed to be active USN stated we had our subs trailing Roosky shit in the Black Sea, which I though was pretty cool.

The whole thing sickens me as Trump would have avoided this entire shit show, and pelosi never would have gone to Chy-Nah which strengthened X-Jinping and reinforced all kinds of negative for US shit.

We have subs in arctic ocean and the Baltic a hell of a lot closer to Pu-Tin-Ville and in the Chy-Nah sea closer to Xi-JinVille.

So the sub is down there with snake/Lizard :laughing:

Our fast attack subs have trailed Russian boomers for decades. If there was a real nuke war going to happen those Russian boomers would
end up very dead, very quickly. Along with trailing them we kept close tabs on them with the SOSUS system.

I remember reading somewhere that no matter who launches first, our nukes will hit everyone else before theirs hit us. I think it was a 15-20 minute gap and we might have some stuff to knock down aggressors missiles before they split up the payload.

If I had 20 minutes warning I'd probably try to make it over the top of the pass (25 minutes usually at 80). Might beat the one aimed at the pass, might be ground zero. Either way most likely better than waiting for the fallout from the multiple strikes in the Puget Sound basin.

Not like we'd have that kind of warning though. Most likely the government would let us know after we were hit. :laughing:

From my info those Russian boomers would never get the chance to launch, they'd be dead before that happened. They need to be fairly close
to the surface to launch, but usually cruise at a deeper depth, so if they came up near the surface they'd get killed.

Defense systems set up to intercept incoming, yes?

I heard we figured they would target our silos so we set up to intercept there as escalation leads to nukes.
Russia, however, doesn't see it as escalation to nukes and more like nukes fly at once, so they assume their silos would be empty by the time ours got there and therefore want to intercept above their population centers. All missiles fly and their tanks will roll into radiated places.

If you truly worry about where to go I suggest finding somewhere underground. Bring your guns incase others get there first and won't let you in or others get there after you and demand to be let in. ;)

It's idle speculation on my part, I live within 65 miles of the capital city, largest city, largest army base on the west coast, largest city in the state, nuke sub and navy bases, 2 easiest and most developed interstate passes over the mountains. I figure those things are all getting one at least.

So I'm fucked. :flipoff2:

I seem to remember that one. Was it the one where they go into the bunker and ignore everyone who needs help or the one where the family heads into the bunker and stays in it for like a year or two on a false alarm.

Where others try and force into it. People fight and the bomb never comes and everyone saw each others true colors and made for uncomfortable situation.

IIRC; three family were fighting to get in/one of the husbands spoke Spanish so there were racist remarks.
All three families were yelling guilt-trip and shaming at the family inside.

The family inside the bunker questioned whether surviving would even be worth it.
Also felt guilty for leaving their friends outside.
